Rizzle Kicks are going to be one of those groups who get tons of top 40 singles but never get a #1 aren't they?

At least Mama Do the Hump sold more than many (maybe most) #1s last year I think.

Shane Filan is under performing - Was sure with the 'hype' of it being his first solo single that he would be Top 10 with ease! However saying that the Westlife fanbase always seemed to struggle with the transition to the digital age and still wanted CD1 and CD2 to be released of their singles :kink: Am sure he will get decent album sales though.
Is this a new release? I'm sure I saw it in the top 1500 months ago.

It was part of an EP that was released last year. It was deleted and now re-released as a single on his own right.

They released an EP called 'Sex' (with Sex on it) back in 2012.

EDIT: Ben got there. :kink:

I just realised the title of the track by Wretch 32, should the title be re-titled to Doing Badly ha :heehee:

Just heard Rizzle Kicks' song (finally) and it's better than I thought it was from the remix I heard of it a while ago. Pleased to see it doing well, it doesn't really feel like they've had much hype this time around so to see it looking like being their third highest peaker is quite surprising!

Great to see The 1975 top 100 also, EP at #14 on the albums chart as well (Shane's EP is #1, Olly Murs at #19 (this single has really underperformed for him hasn't it :(), Wretch 32 at #38, Atumpan at #54, Chlöe Howl at #56 and Kodaline at #80).

This week is going to be very quiet...Ellie should easily get a 3rd week at number one

My Predictions:

The 1975 – Sex - #44

Bastille - Things We Lost in the Fire - #40 (I hope this can just scrape in after their V performance)

Miguel – Adorn - #48

Olly Murs – Right Place Right Time - #35

Rizzle Kicks – Lost Generation - #7

Shane Filan – Everything To Me - #20

Wretch 32 feat Jacob Banks – Doing OK - #43

If anything, a lot of those will probably scrape the lower end of the top 40! I don't really think I will be buying anything this week unless a good OAOS track appears...

Somebody has updated Matt's wiki page with the chart position of 'Loving You' - Hope what's been posted is true but I doubt it somehow :nocheer:

Just to have 5 new entries top 10 I hope so too...but I think someone may have just used the chart update position as it says the report was modified 2 days ago but fingers crossed!! Not long until we find out

The album's still selling for Olly though which I guess is the more important thing, nice as it would be for the 4th single in to be another top 10 or top 20. He was on Sunday Brunch today (and a conplete hoot too, I should add) and he's on This Morning on Thursday so that plus his radio appearances tomorrow should get him top 40 at least.

Can't say I'm surprised about Shane Filan though. It's doing a bit better than I thought it would but really he should have struck out with solo stuff while the metaphoric Westlife iron was still hot (ie 10 years ago).

I'm really glad Rizzle Kicks are doing well with this era so far. They're one of the freshest acts around atm and don't deserve the dreaded sophomore slump. A third #8 would be hilarious but another top 3 would be brilliant for them. It's such a shame 'Mama Do the Hump' is their highest-peaking single (not counting HSAB) when imo it is their worst. :(

Alexandra and Wretch 32 are releasing their collaboration this week! :magic: on her free EP. :kink:
