Why did they release on Friday?

 

I could understand if a fake version was doing well or their pre-order was really high.

 

They wanted to release it on Friday so it was available to download when they performed on Alan Carr's show a couple of hours ago I think.

Based on this it might struggle to go top 5.

MKS could have scored a comfortable Top 20 hit if they had released on Sunday but now it looks like being a #38 smash with sales split over 2 weeks :nocheer:

#38 at best! I can't see them holding up at all next week. Their fans are very loyal (including me, done my bit in Russia :D) but all of them have already bought the song.

 

Tbh I don't care about the chart positions for MKS anymore, as long as they release an album and do a (preferably) European tour, I'll be pretty much satisfied.

At least now they can say that the rubbish chart peak is only due to a Friday release!!!
I thought Alan Carr would've helped them for a day longer at least but they've now dropped to 16. So yeah it's proof that a Friday release is a huge NO NO!

It's bizarre that just being on a compilation album has given 'Like Home' a second wind that's almost as 'big' now as its actual release :lol: Really average song though, I miss when Nicky Romero was good.
