September 4, 201313 yr Oops, to be honest I forgot all about Jason Derulo -_- oh well, not looking forward to another crap #1 :( :nocheer: I have a feeling after a great run of number ones I reckon there will be more crap to come before the years out sadly!
September 4, 201313 yr FAB for The 1975 and Nine Inch Nails! I did think Ariana would be higher despite being a download-only release. Shame about Glasvegas, but it was pretty much expected Would be amazing if London Grammar got a top 20 hit, but they'll most likely end up at #21 by Sunday
September 4, 201313 yr Great stuff for The 1975! :D Vast sales for Katy Perry, good to see sales for the No1 back over 100k, although looking at her discography its surprising that this is the one to open potentially above 200k.
September 4, 201313 yr I hope Britney management will take lessons from Katy and prevent OA/OS release when her new single comes in 12 days :)
September 4, 201313 yr I thought Katy may do nearer or over 100k so that's fantastic to see. I wished Same Love would get to the top 10 this week :( here's hoping it will eventually. Yes at Olly going top 40 once again. Now stay there!
September 4, 201313 yr Midweek Charts: Perry Roaring to No.1 Source: MW by Paul Willams Katy Perry is heading for her third UK No 1 single with Roar outselling its next six rivals combined. That would be her fourth, MW. :drama:
September 4, 201313 yr 'Burn' is selling roughly 8k a day going by 'Roars' sales figures. Katy Perry is now selling less than 3x that of Ellie Goulding and is continuing to fall, so I think Katy will sell around 175k this week.
September 4, 201313 yr The Dylan album will be fanbase-oriented because it's a collection of outtakes, not new stuff or a Greatest Hits.
September 4, 201313 yr The Dylan album will be fanbase-oriented because it's a collection of outtakes, not new stuff or a Greatest Hits. I guess so, just surprised Bob Dylan seems to have a bigger fanbase that buy on the first week than Franz Ferdinand and Newton Faulkner
September 4, 201313 yr Midweek Charts: Perry Roaring to No.1 Source: MW by Paul Willams Katy Perry is heading for her third UK No 1 single with Roar outselling its next six rivals combined. The Virgin single had sold 102,677 copies this week up to the close of business on Tuesday, according to Official Charts Company data, four-and-a-half times as many as its nearest rival Burn by Ellie Goulding and more than the collective totals of the songs sitting between positions 2 and 6 in the midweeks. We should have seen this coming. Katy Perry is selling more than postions 2-6 put together.
September 4, 201313 yr Shane Filan already out of the Top 40  Oh dear...I was expecting this would happen, Westlife had some horrific chart runs in their career I don't see any longevity for his solo career after this...
September 5, 201313 yr Katy Perry slaying it to number 1. Ariana Grande is performing exceptionally well without a physical, i expected Aluna George a few weeks back to be performing like this, i hope Aluna can hold on.
September 5, 201313 yr G'won Ariana! She's managed it without a genuine, hit too. 'Popular Song' with Mika has the potential to be huge! It's been top 200 on iTunes constantly for a while now. Her album is so fresh and her voice is insane!
September 5, 201313 yr Oh dear...I was expecting this would happen, Westlife had some horrific chart runs in their career Well fair's fair - they had some horrific songs... :P
September 5, 201313 yr Oh dear...I was expecting this would happen, Westlife had some horrific chart runs in their career I don't see any longevity for his solo career after this... An XF performance and November album release could prolong it!
September 5, 201313 yr You Me At Six are currently #10 in the midweeks today. Carina Berthet @carinaberthet 5h #LivedALie is currently at #10 in the midweeks... 😍💥👍🎉⚡ I expect they will drop out by Sunday.
September 5, 201313 yr Will YM@6 be the highest peaker on the iTunes chart to miss the top 10 officially? I know Ke$ha's 'Blah Blah Blah' peaked at #3 on iTunes but made #11 officially.
September 5, 201313 yr Will YM@6 be the highest peaker on the iTunes chart to miss the top 10 officially? I know Ke$ha's 'Blah Blah Blah' peaked at #3 on iTunes but made #11 officially. It got to #1 on its original release in the 60s but Gerry And The Pacemakers' 'You'll Never Walk Alone' didn't make the top 10 after it hit #1 on iTunes.
