September 29, 201311 yr We've never really used the long version of our name, it's just FSR Rontvia, although thinking about it just Rontvia would probably sound better nowadays. But I'm not changing it.
September 29, 201311 yr :/ One country doing this is ENOUGH. Especially if copycats are going to create stupidly long country names. Changing my country name to 'Federal Union of Persephonia (Sargia State including Designated Native Egabbaci Sargian Territory, Carellisia State, Murraii State, Lauhun State and Far Island Autonomous Region)'. Seems reasonable. 'Ashton, Federal Republic of' invites you to kindly cunt off.
September 29, 201311 yr 'Ashton, Federal Republic of' invites you to kindly cunt off. That was the one country I was referring to. I don't mind Ashton doing it but copycats are going to get annoying if this starts a trend.
September 30, 201311 yr I have nothing to send. So just browsing on youtube and found an entry. It's got last place in the semi written all over it, but meh. Can't be arsed to look through properly for entries. (But this one's beautiful).
September 30, 201311 yr I can't wait to see all the tracks!! I'm quite confident that I'll do 'Okay' Ryan likes it at any rate :D
September 30, 201311 yr 'Ashton, Federal Republic of' invites you to kindly cunt off. The People's Republic of Ginsay Lohan would like to invite, 'Ashton, Federal Republic of' to join a new song contest, for countries only with names longer than 15 characters.
September 30, 201311 yr NOTHING wrong with long country names. Though long gone are the days of my own 45 character long name.
September 30, 201311 yr I really don't see how a country name matters anyway?! What a silly thing to get wound up about. With the greatest respect to Federal Republic Of Ashton or The People's Republic Of Ginsay Lohands, if I really cba I'll just put Ashton or Ginsay Lohands.
September 30, 201311 yr It's the pesky accents and fancy letters/symbols that get to me (for typing mainly but also pronunciation (if they come up in conversations)) <_<
September 30, 201311 yr It's the pesky accents and fancy letters/symbols that get to me (for typing mainly but also pronunciation (if they come up in conversations)) <_< I still can't get over Air-Rock for Aeroche. Would never have thought of pronouncing it that way.
September 30, 201311 yr I still can't get over Air-Rock for Aeroche. Would never have thought of pronouncing it that way. It's pronounced that way? It'd say Ae as in by and roche as in lodge
September 30, 201311 yr Some of us have abbreviated our country name. Less is more! INDEED. who needs vowels? PRJ DNTN for 2k14
September 30, 201311 yr I have always pronounced Aeroche as 'air-rosh'. And always will. The word does not look like 'air-rock'
September 30, 201311 yr Just think about my poor bloated BJSC World Map key! :( :kink: Why is it 'Ashton, Federal Republic of' instead of 'Federal Republic of Ashton' anyway? The latter looks FAR better (same for Bignia-Zaragovina although 'The United Nations of Bignia-Zaragovina' looks clunky either way).
