Gonna be VERY close for #1 on Sunday then :o

Hopefully The Vamps get it just to fall out of the top 10 next week  One Rep can hold off and perform Secrets on the X Factor please with a "Beneath your Beautiful" effect then it'll be the perfect no.1 for them even though CS is really good :P

I hope the top 2 albums can manage 30k but I doubt given that 28 copies only separate the two so sales must be abysmal.

So close! :o

Katy Perry Walking On Air still not in the Top 40?

If JT did not release the complete collection this week how far ahead would he be? Obviously does not care about the charts. Have HAIM or JT got promo tonight?

It may end up being close, but I think The Vamps have this now tbh :(

Whoa @ that gap in the albums top 2! Justin will get the #1 in the end probably, but it's great to see Haim doing so well with this

Changing of the Seasons #29, should end up around #37 on Sunday - great result <3

Emeli Sande is just holding on with Clown but I expect Sub Focus edge back to the 40, the following singles dropping out of the 40 are Sub Focus, Jessie J [sexy Lady], Naughty Boy/Sam Smith, Daft Punk, Bastille, Kings Of Leon, CHVRCHES (my personal chart #1 :cheer: ), Sean Paul and Jason Derulo [TOS]. Highest faller of the week goes to Birdy flying down to #35.

Album #1 is looking pretty close right down to the wire, no pun intended :heehee: biggest faller of the week goes to Elton John literally dived off his board to #30.

It'd be really annoying if they ended up at #41  but hopefully they should be able to hang on!

Pretty chuffed with my prediction at the start of the week that Haim would be no1 in the albums.

OMG at the race for the singles no1, think The Vamps will make it now, they arent that far behind on itunes!!

Whats the combined %?

This midweek update actually makes me MORE convinced that OneRep will get #1 - they needed to close 3.25k per day and they've closed 7k (i.e. more than double that) in 2 days. The other 2 days have higher sales in general so they should easily close another 6k. There won't be a huge margin between the 2 but I'm fairly confident The Vamps will be caught. Watch me be wrong of course.

Holy crap at HAIM. Looks like Justin's #1 streak is over after all, regardless of 'The Complete Experience'!

Are people so sure that Haim will be #1? I'd have thought the 'weekend effect' would benefit Justin more...

Why? Everyone has assumed that both would sell over 40k all week, the fact that the gap's narrowing doesn't mean that sales are lower than expected.

One Republic have number one in the bag! It wouldn't surprise me if it's only by 500 sales though.

or by a measly 5 copies

Don't think anyone's posted this yet: this BBC article has the top two album sales figures:

Between Sunday and Thursday, Timberlake sold 26,445 copies of The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2, according to the Official Charts Company.

Californian sisters Haim were on 26,417 with their debut album Days Are Gone.

Not as high as I was hoping :(

Is that it for JT and Haim, eek. Might just order Haim's album and hope that it can help them reach #1.

Praying that OneRepublic can overtake The Vamps.
