I wish radio would play this. The smash potential is clearly there, much more so than anything she's released since 'Womanizer'.

 

Not counting Scream & Shout, of course.

 

It's pre-orders seem about 'Loving You' levels and I wouldn't be surprised at a similar chart run. Right now Britney is just not relevant in the UK, there is Miley, Katy, Gaga and normally Rihanna.

The pre-order went as high as top 90 (maybe top 80, but I can't remember exactly...), before falling away and regaining a consistent/lengthy run inside the top 300 ever since the video premiered. This week her promotional blitz has done WONDERS for her. Particularly the Alan Carr interview which has nearly pushed it top 100 again on pre-orders alone. Online seem to be going mental for the final part of the interview and I think it's going to generate a bit of a buzz for her and get it inside the top 100 again. 'Loving You' never got top 100 until it was just about to be released, was it? :unsure:

 

I'm quite confident this will be a top 10 hit for her with at least 50k sales. (I'm usually well off predictions and stuff though, so I'm probably wrong but we'll have to wait and see).

It's katy Perry and Robin Thicke this week, I found it odd how James doesn't get a slot... He was on the Australian version on Monday though.

I heard somewhere that James' release has being pushed forward so maybe he'll be performing next week? Although that wouldn't make any sense...

The album's not released until the 4th Nov though, so it would be in 2 weeks! I guess we'll find out later tonight though...

Really?! :lol: Not even giving last year's winner a slot on the main show and instead demoting him to The Xtra Factor? Priorities.

Maybe he just didn't want to be on the live shows, for whatever reason.

Maybe they've put James on the Xtra Factor to try and improve that show's ratings. But Griff's explanation could be right too.

Why would he not want to perform on the biggest show for promotion possible on UK TV?

"Lorde, just have the #1 if you want..." says James Arthur.

Because he might feel as if he wants to have the same exposure as most other artists and work his way up so that his popularity can reach up to the standards of Katy Perry and Robin Thicke one day. They could have had three performances on the show if they wanted so there has a reason as to why James isn't on the main show.

 

Good on him, I say.
