Oh, Lorde has already made up half the gap Gaga initially opened - how strange. Hopefully should mean 'Do What U Want' won't be a threat to her #1 (even if it is eligible which still remains unclear).

 11. Wait For a Minute - Tyga & Justin Bieber

Surprised to see this doing so much better than 'Lolly' did, I guess this 'Music Mondays' thing has increased Bieber's profile a bit even if the actual releases from it are selling to no one but his fanbase. Looks like this could kick 'Hold Tight' out of the top 10.

 29. Sweeter Than Fiction - Taylor Swift

This has really done quite badly by her standards in the USA, but before 'Red' came out here there's no way this would ever have troubled the UK iTunes top 30. UK starting to like Taylor more than the USA??? (No).

 82. Survival - Eminem

Looks like this was just released today, wonder if it'll be another top 10 for him?

 91. Dancing In the Dark - Andrea Begley

Andrea getting that top 100 relevance. Her album release has been handled a hell of a lot better than Leanne's at least.

 98. Tennis Court - Lorde

 Looks like Lorde might enter the UK top 100 for the first time with 2 songs simultaneously! The 'Tennis Court' EP is at #48 in the album chart as well.

 100. SoundHunter & Martin Garrix - Animals (Remix) - officialSoundHunter

Why is Bieber releasing another single this week? Has he realised that people will get bored of his #MusicMondays thing in a few weeks and is going to release his 10 songs asap?

Yay for Tyga I guess, although it should've been this song doing big things in the (iTunes) charts:

Wait For a Minute was originally a Justin Bieber song, but I think Tyga's releasing it as the lead single from his new album now. The song sounds like Rack City, Faded and Dope, so Tyga can easily pull it off.

Rack City did do big things on iTunes. It easily sold over 100,000, and that was without support from either Radio 1 or Capital.

Andrea Begley Update

#91. "Dancing In The Dark"

#283. "Angel"

#472. "The Message"

#649. "Ho Hey"

#650. "My Immortal"

I hope "Dancing In The Dark" continues rising and can get a placing in the top 100! :cheer:

Has it given a boost to Micky Modelle's version of 'Dancing In the Dark'? :( Adore that version.

Thanks Envoirment <3

58. Katy Perry - Unconditionally

I know it's barely had airplay or promo/hype but I honestly thought it'd get cherry picked enough to go top 40 at least for this week :(

Thanks for the new link Envoirment! Showing the full top 1,500 for me.

If Tyga overtakes James Blunt before James overtakes Justin the top 10 will be 70% new releases again like it was for a while 2 weeks ago.

Looks like that has happened already. James is showing at 11 for me, with Tyga at 10 and Justin at 9.

Hadn't happened yet when I made that post :P But you're right it has now (and actually Tyga is now  to #9). Likely to be short-lived as I imagine 'Bonfire Heart' will knock 'Hold Tight' to #11 pretty soon. But for the moment the only survivors from Saturday's iTunes top 10 are OneRepublic at #4, Miley Cyrus at #6 and Katy Perry at #7.

106. Noel Harrison - Windmills of Your Mind

Sadly Noel has passed away. :(

Bet James Arthur is slightly miffed that Gaga released this week
Bet James Arthur is slightly miffed that Gaga released this week

Why would he be? He's going to chart higher than her anyway, she'll probably do the same as Rap God last week (if she's even eligible to chart).

 10. Bonfire Heart - James Blunt

 11. Hold Tight - Justin Bieber

As expected :P

 53. Survival - Eminem

As much as I'd like another GaGa #01, Lorde deserved one :(
As much as I'd like another GaGa #01, Lorde deserved one :(

And she'll still get it. She's selling ~94% of what GaGa's selling at the moment, so she should return to the iTunes #1 shortly. And even if she doesn't, she has 2 more days of sales than GaGa

Lorde deserves one, and she'll get one. And James Arthur will be #2. Our great top 2 is safe. A mid-week release that spends half a day at #1 on iTunes will NOT get there officially.

Everytime someone pre-orders the album it counts as a sale for the song, so that's the only thing that will hold it up after her fans have all downloaded it.

On a positive note, Tyga getting his first ever top 10 on iTunes!! :cheer:

'Unconditionally' needs to be like 50 places higher :( her best in an age.

It's still being majorly overshadowed by 'Roar' though so the sooner that dies the better. Radio 1 can hopefully switch the two singles round this week.

 1. Royals - Lorde

 2. Do What You U Want (feat. R. Kelly) - Lady Gaga

Next weeks #1

I suppose that X Factor performance will help it get there :heehee:
