I see Midnight Memories has crashed the party, more clutter

This 1D song seems to have stormed to a much, much larger lead than 'Diana' did. Lily is down to 0.4102, whereas she never dropped below 0.7-ish behind 'Diana'. Strange. I guess that's probably down to the fact Lily is selling less now than she was on Monday (as per all songs more or less) whereas both 1D songs had the same lump sum of sales added straight off (slightly larger for 'Midnight Memories' as it included the last 2 days of album pre-orders as well).

Is it actually a good song?

Could the fact that 'Midnight Memories' shares the same title as the album pose as a reason why this is doing better than 'Diana'?

Unashamedly love the Midnight Memories song. Its like a huge 80's stadium Rock anthem.

The chart geek inside of me really can't stand all these instant grat, pre-order, OA/OS singles that are being released these days. :lol: It makes the charts more interesting but it's so hard to keep up and tell what singles are eligible and what aren't.

 

And ouch for JLS. :( Come back! We'll swap you for The Wanted.

It's a shame that JLS have completely fallen from charting grace in the last year or so. I'm not a fan but it's very strange to see the lukewarm chart response their final single is getting...suppose they've all jumped on the 1D bandwagon (much to Cowell's delight I'm sure)

I bet Jls have already signed to reform in 3 or 4 years time. I'm sure they needed a break and the management saw sales sliding, the GH was bound to sell well and there will be hype for their return in a few years. They get a few years now to flop solo, do reality TV and enjoy their millions.

I can only support this Activ8 campaign :wub: Love that song. Bit of a random choice though? I guess it's just because the name of the act is 'Altern8'.

Yeah, I think they will probably do a re-union of some sort, well, if there's enough demand for it.

 

One of the guys from JLS is a radio DJ for Capital FM (now that I think about it, it's kind of strange Capital haven't been playing their latest single when one of the members of the group works for the station :lol:).
