Whens that Pitbull nonsense out?

Christmas week. It will probably follow DSTP and reach its peak in the new year.

Looks like Lily is back at #1 combined (unless 1D have a 2nd version out that I'm not counting).

they have but lily has 3rd version higher than 1d 2nd version no. 264 vs no.332

"Ready For Your Love" not out until January 26th? Utter madness. Release it now while MNEK is being talked about and while R1 are loving the track. Same goes for Sam Smith's "Money on My Mind" (February), though he's shoe in to win Critics Choice too; which'll keep the hype for the track going.

Where's that 3rd version from? I know one is on the Now compilation.

Thanks, i expect it will do well esp if it's done well over the water & has radio 1 support!

Totally singing from my hymn sheet there mate :P I agree but record labels would rather build up a release so it peaks in the top 5 & sells a decent amount in the first week before sales halving each subsequent week, like many hits in the 2nd half of this year like Storm Queen & Martin Garrix etc! Stupid so they are!

Even in the age where streaming/illegal downloads and many other ways of hearing music record companies are determined to push customers away!

seems we're stuck in the age of 'single pre-orders'- i.e. meaning the record labels can hold a release back for as long as they want (2/3 months even!), and the song will debut high regardless because of all the pre-orders behind it! (and yeah i know single pre-orders have been around for a while, but they seem much more common now)

I guess the one positive of Gorgon City being pushed back a week is that it has a much better chance of #1 (as the week before it probably would've lost out to The Vamps)

I know its depressing but for newer artists a bit of a wait can be better but for established artists OA/OS is a must!

 1448. Sevan - Tsunami (Tribute to DVBBS and Borgeous)

Wow at all those songs! :o 2014 is already shaping up to be another awesome year for the charts!

I'm surprised at Gorgon City so high. I loved their song with Yasmin from earlier in the year (I think I annoyed people by how much I went on about it ), I'm glad they'll finally get a top 40 hit.

I remember Diplo's song being top 100 on iTunes ages ago. They must've deleted it I guess...

It would be nice to see Jess Glynne in the chart. She does the vocals on this song which All About She remixed:

Kelly Clarkson - Underneathe the Tree has had 2 plays today on radio 1 even though its not on their playlist - wonder if its their record of the day or something?

I'd disagree with that last bit. It's been shown that it doesn't work for some established artists, like The Saturdays (Notorious) and The Wanted (We Own The Night). Notorious only ended up with a decent enough run because it got reduced in price a few weeks in. I think OA/OS is good for some artists but others need that bit of build up (holding back for like 2/3 months though is stupid, 1 month at most is good enough IMO!).

Did anyone hear Britney Spears ft Avicci on YouTube...go to Britney Spears Now that I found you(lyric video) and the 2nd video..rather good..ha

Yea mayb its something to do with commercial pop bands with a limited appeal base. But then again it works fine for 1D!

Avcii doesn't have anything with that song, producer is will.i.am and anthony preston, and writers are Britney, Guetta and some others..

The song is just inspired by wake me up :)

I know I was only messing..really sounds like avicci..ha..she should release it as a single..its good
yeah she should definitely.. but they wont coz the song is only on deluxe edition of album.
Has anyone ever released a single that was on the Deluxe Album originally ? Only person I can think of is Nicki Minaj and Superbass why it was ever on Deluxe Album and not on the Main Album I will never know.

G'WON KELLY. *.* Legitimately a song of the year contender. <3 Hopefully it'll keep climbing!
