(39) Change Me-Justin Bieber

This tune does need a remix if it ever released as a single. My guess is that Next week's JB tune will not enter in the top 40

I really like the retro each week for the forgotten tracks. D-Side - Real World for example.
I ain't knocking any retros, as they are part of our lives, it shows our memories of great music down the years.

we can only hope!!

That's not what I'm saying at all and I don't think it's what fchd was saying either. No one wants Gezza to stop doing the retros, but I don't see the issue with fchd doing one as well especially if it gives slightly more than the same 4 years we always get!

I will PM fchd, I really have no issue with his retros as they are totally random and different years. However, I don't appreciate the regular ones being dubbed 'boring'.

The Pogues & Mariah top 20! ^_^

This was discussed in the chart mod area, please read through before complaining in the thread ;)

2013 20 Higher (Free) -1-

The Pogues & Mariah top 20! ^_^

It's going to be close between them but I think Mariah is ahead. Hopefully top 15

:o who is dissing the retros? Surely worth a warning. :smoke:
all about she making the top 20  Great entry, didn't expect it to go this high before it started its iTunes progress!

Ooh I quite like this

The last time I remember garage in the chart was Heartbroken & What's It Gonna Be in 2007 :P

I really dislike this all about she song. It's okay, but meh :puke:
Funnily enough, I was expecting (and hoping for) much higher for this...

Remember the garage revival, known at the time as "bassline", which lasted for exactly two songs ("Heartbroken" and "What's It Gonna Be) in 2007?

Thought not.

I actually have no issue with fchd's retros as they are usually way off the regular ones.

Thanks. I was only going to do two more in this format because I'm working on a whole new thread for the new year. I've deliberately not done ones in the weeks covered in the thread opening posts and tried to use ones where there was actually something interesting about the chart concerned, It was only in the second post this week because I knew I'd be going out for an hour and I wanted to finish it off beforehand, and once we get into the body of this week's chart (which is after all what this thread is really all about out) all the retro chat understandibly stops.

I didn't mean to insult the work put into listing the other retro charts, I just thought it would be a bit more interesting, no, make that a lot more interesting, to use different years each week to jog different memories each week. If Gezza is offended by my wording, I unreservedly apologise.
