December 29, 201312 yr Avicii's singles just keep getting better for me  I loathed the Leona collab and didn't find Levels anything special but 'You Make Me' and 'Hey Brother' have been sublime.
December 29, 201312 yr I'm not feeling Avicii. I don't how this single and it's video appeals to people.
December 29, 201312 yr 'Hey Brother' is honestly terrible. :drama: Hoping Sam can steal another week at #1! :cheer:
December 29, 201312 yr I'm not sure where that was at this point. I don't re-call it spending too long in the chart. I'm sure it had a big fall somewhere along the line. Peter Kay's Animated All Stars - BBC Children In Need Medley - (8 Weeks) 28/11/2009 -18-{1}-1-2-4-11-35-61
December 29, 201312 yr I'm not sure where that was at this point. I don't re-call it spending too long in the chart. I'm sure it had a big fall somewhere along the line. It was def in the top 10 Xmas week because all it's sales were mainly on CDs so a lot brought it up to then. I imagine it fell quickly after that. Thanks to whoever said it wasnt the official CIN single I remember that vaguely too!! Sam Bailey could be no1 she's hasn't been lower than 5 on downloads and Cd sales up to Tuesday will have been huge! Edited December 29, 201312 yr by steve201
December 29, 201312 yr Hey Brother  Such a grower. I finally bought Avicii's album today! :cheer: You deserve a medal :D xxx
December 29, 201312 yr Does anyone know what Little Mix's second week like this time last year? Last year was James?
December 29, 201312 yr 2  (from 1) Sam Bailey - Skyscraper [P] http://a1.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Features/v4/df/8f/03/df8f037b-a1ba-7f62-cdf8-8381a06d64fe/dj.yshjusio.170x170-75.jpg Chart Run: 1-2 [2 wks] Release date: 16-12-2013 / 18-12-2013 Format: digital single / CDS Label: Syco Music Sales: 100k+ Video here: kh2cMMFanB8 Biography Growing up in Sidcup, South East London, 2013 U.K. X Factor winner Sam Bailey had always had a passion for singing. The keen vocalist had worked the cruise ships in her early twenties and had previously worked as a session vocalist before moving to Leicester, U.K. to start a family and eventually become a prison officer. After wowing the judges with her performance of Beyoncé's "Listen" at the room auditions, Bailey was instantly put through with four yeses from the judges, and after sailing through the rest of the auditions, she was put under the wing of mentor Sharon Osbourne. A firm favorite from the start, Bailey went on to take the top spot nearly every week when it came to the public vote. On reaching the final, Bailey performed covers of Jennifer Rush's "The Power of Love" and Demi Lovato's "Skyscraper," securing her place as the winner of the show. A recorded version of Skyscraper was released a day after the final via digital download, and as part of the winner's prize Bailey would support Beyoncé on the U.K. leg of her 2014 Mrs. Carter world tour, as well as securing a million pound recording contract with Syco Music. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2013 01 Skyscraper -1- Discussion Thread Here
December 29, 201312 yr Does anyone know what Little Mix's second week like this time last year? 120k, but that was inflated by Xmas sales (it was released a week earlier than Sam's single).
December 29, 201312 yr No second album chart post again this week, as Bieber's album has shockingly missed the top 40 entirely :o 'The Monster' actually regrowing on me a bit (as is Lily's song). Given that the singles have sold around 10,000 each, the album's failure to reach the top 40 doesn't say much for someone who is supposed to be one of the most popular "singers" in the world.
