January 13, 201411 yr I still like Jim personally. We're all looking at it from the perspective of being young and at our age, staying up til 2am partying every night might sound like fun. But, Jim IS older - I don't think when I'm 60, I'll be doing that either. The partying and late night screaming is a constant thing and for someone who isn't involved in that, it must be annoying get woken up, god knows I hate when people wake me up. It's not greatly entertaining I appreciate, but I can understand his perspective. Lionel annoys me more though, as even though he's in a similar position, he does seem to have a humour bypass in all situations in life. Even when he seemingly enjoyed himself more than most in the 18+ thing.
January 13, 201411 yr Isn't Linda around the same age and she doesn't have a problem with it! :P There have been plenty of older housemates who have gotten involved in the past, and I know plenty of older people who aren't as grumpy and miserable as him so I dont really buy that argument.

Especially as most people know what to expect from Big Brother and should know that it's more than likely to appeal to the younger ones to join in and audition etc. He should have gone in expecting this sort of thing. It really just makes him look like a miserable old git. The way he handled being shouted at by Luisa (and just about everyone else) last night was confusing and immature. Laughing about it and joking around with it, then bitching to the older lot saying she was out of order shouting whatever it was she shouted and basically took it out of context as to how she actually meant it. I agree with Jack earlier when he said something about Jim and Lionel being just as bad as the girls with their constant bitching, but because they're older men they can get away with it. Double standards, yet again with this show.
