March 2, 201412 yr "Let It Go" still sounds as lovely as ever. If it wins the Oscar tonight, which I think it will, then I can see it going top 10 next week. "Happy" is HUGE in the US though and don't count out U2, especially with how much they're revered AND the song is dedicated to the late Nelson Mandela. I think it's just Karen O who has no shot of winning, which is a shame as her song is the best of the four. :(
March 2, 201412 yr Only a CORRUPTED SOUL would not enjoy this song Or those who hate childrens happiness
March 2, 201412 yr If I Lose Myself is actually made quite faceless with this remix. Alesso's done nothing to impress me really. The album version of If I Lose Myself is much better. Let It Go hopefully on its way out. *jinxes it and it jumps back up after the Oscars*
March 2, 201412 yr They will have climbed (probably by quite a lot) from the mids due to being made 59p midweek :P The song had 4 versions top 200 including 2 in the top 50 on iTunes at the end of the week. Oddly 2 versions were on 59p, one version on 79p and one version 99p
March 2, 201412 yr How is Neon Jungle only #34 when they've been top 30 on iTunes all week, it makes no sense!

Pompeii (Kat Krazy Remix) Biography The neo-synth pop group Bastille were formed in London, England in 2010. Originally the solo project of singer/songwriter Dan Smith, Bastille expanded to a quartet after he decided to form a band and got some of his friends involved. The band attracted a lot of attention after putting a few tracks online, leading to support slots at major U.K. festivals like Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight. While their lush, heavily '80s-inspired melodies, anthemic choruses, and literate, emotionally raw lyrics, delivered in Smith’s swooping voice, undoubtedly appealed to kids weaned on the sounds of La Roux and Florence + the Machine, at least part of the hype was due to the flagrantly copyright-breaching videos that Smith, an ardent film buff, edited together out of footage from old movies like Terrence Malick’s Badlands. Eventually they secured a deal with hip indie label Young and Lost Club and released their debut 7” single, Flaws/Icarus, in July 2011. This was followed later that year by Laura Palmer EP, named for the teenaged murder victim in David Lynch’s cult '90s TV series Twin Peaks; the creepy accompanying video for the track “Overjoyed” was also heavily inspired by the series. The group returned in 2013 with their debut album Bad Blood. ~ John D. Sales: 300k+ Video here: oOAfz0H4f00 Biography R&B vocalist Jason Derülo launched his career while still in his teens, first as a songwriter for other artists and later as a solo performer. Born to Haitian parents in Miramar, Florida, Derülo started singing at an early age. He attended performing arts schools in Florida and took some early stabs at music composition, writing his first song at the age of eight. His writing skills began attracting attention, and by his teenage years, Derülo had begun scribing tracks for artists like Lil Wayne, Pitbull, and Pleasure P. He also wrote "Bossy" for Birdman, a New Orleans-based rapper, and made a guest appearance on the song, which highlighted his ability as a vocalist. After signing to a subsidiary of Warner Bros., Derülo began making the transition from behind-the-scenes songwriter to mainstream performer. His first hit arrived during the summer of 2009, when he wrapped a sample of Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek" (a song made popular by its appearance in the second season finale of The O.C., as well as the Saturday Night Live sketch Dear Sister) around a sleek modern soul beat. Titled "Whatcha Say," the song topped the Billboard charts and cracked the Top Ten in multiple foreign countries, including Canada, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, and the U.K. A second single, "In My Head," peaked at number five in America, and Derülo's full-length debut album arrived in early 2010. Future History followed in 2011, along with its hit single “Don't Wanna Go Home.” ~ Jason Thurston & Andrew Leahey, Rovi / iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2009 03 Whatcha Say -1- 2010 01 In My Head -2- 2010 02 Ridin' Solo -3- 2010 12 What If -4- 2010 51 Coming Home (Pixie Lott Feat.
