April 4, 201412 yr I'm pretty sure Klaxons will still make it. I hoped for better but alas. Same here hoped for top 10 but radio 1 are their only suitors even though its perfect capital material!
April 4, 201412 yr Kaiser Chiefs just barely seeing Sam Bailey off today, looks like she will be getting a second week at #1 unless George Michael's weekend sales are much stronger than hers. Kaiser Chiefs may end up at #3.
April 4, 201412 yr Top 5 sales added, ooh its so close at the top of the album charts, still looks like a 3 way tie.. Aloe Blacc will probably just break no more than 80-82k.
April 4, 201412 yr Album sales must be very close in the top 6, its still wide open, poor Suedehead2 for his chart commentary. :( It will be a challenge
April 4, 201412 yr I'm just hoping the final of the Voice will give Kaiser Chiefs a bit of a push more than anything in some form, but I think its a little bit too late, I don't think Sam Bailey has got any promotion this weekend, really surprised her album has held up pretty well all week. All of the judges are performing with their acts tomorrow.
April 4, 201412 yr Sam Bailey will be very near to 100,000 when this weeks sales are counted in, which is doing very well which i am very happy about. It most certainly is a 3 way race for the albums and either 3 acts could take the number 1 slot, personally, i would be happier with Kaiser Chiefs or Sam Bailey over George Michael. Have Kaiser Chiefs previous albums ever reached number 1??? Number 2 and 3 in the singles is ever so close, i would hope John Legend can snatch the number 2 position with the beautiful "All of Me".
April 4, 201412 yr Author Have Kaiser Chiefs previous albums ever reached number 1??? Yes, they made it with their second album Yours Truly, Angry Mob which was home to the single 'Ruby'. Worth mentioning that their debut album made #2 yet sold over 2m.
April 4, 201412 yr Looks like the screening of the Symphonica documentary didn't help George much. Supermarket shoppers will probably push Sam and George ahead of Kaiser Chiefs at the weekend.
April 4, 201412 yr Looks like the screening of the Symphonica documentary didn't help George much. Supermarket shoppers will probably push Sam and George ahead of Kaiser Chiefs at the weekend. I think george's album will have stronger sales on saturday than sam or the kaiser chiefs due to the symphonica documentary, still could be close, cmon george!
April 4, 201412 yr where is Kylie please!!! I see she has zoomed up ITunes because of a price reduction
April 4, 201412 yr where is Kylie please!!! I see she has zoomed up ITunes because of a price reduction It's already been stated where she is in the mids today... #17.
April 4, 201412 yr Ok sorry, didn't see! :) Hopefully will get back top 15 for Sunday. Actually it wasn't that hard to find :( -_-
April 5, 201412 yr Hoping the price reduction on itunes and amazon plus the lovely performance of ITB on Graham Norton keeps her top 15 in the albums and back into the top 40 in the singles. Looks as though George is going to climb back to number 1. Still picking up good sales after three weeks.
April 5, 201412 yr Yes Kylie 10 and 46 on UK ITunes so although this doesn't count for many sales it hopefully should move her back into the top 15 come Sunday, especially as Physical sales should do OK on a Saturday..... Into The Blue up to 39 and 166 on UK ITunes after her G Norton... lookslike people are buying the version from the standard ITunes album as this is higher in the album charts.......
April 5, 201412 yr G'won Kylie! Shame these good promotion spots she's doing every week won't boost her more and keep her afloat but it'd probably be low down in the top 100 on iTunes if she hadn't so good on her.
