Ana has left the top 40 already :( same thing happened to Matt Cardle. Why is it only the good artists seem to do this?

After such delight seeing Anastacia top 10 last week the horrible drop hits harder than predicted this week. Kylie doing much better than i thought, the dreadful I was Gonna Cancel could get a top 75 placement on Sunday.

Great to see Eurovision doing so well, that said, it would make my week if Ruth Lorenzo was showing up in the top 40.

Could i ask for Gary Barlow positions in both charts please?

Single #36

Album #6

*insert witty joke about how Kylie should have cancelled this release*

She really should have released 'Kiss Me Once'! :(

Or 'Sexy Love'.

It's obvious they were relying on Pharrell's involvement with this though, and we still don't even have a video.

They may as well have not bothered, not that they put any effort into it.

I expected a much sharper fall as last weeks rise was down to the tv show. This week has nothing to really keep it selling.

Blondie at #12! :cheer: Massive improvement from the #73 peak of their last studio album, suppose it does help that there's a greatest hits with new vocals attached to it and that they've been touring a lot. Hopefully it's safe for a Top 20 peak.

MJ slightly ahead of The Black Keys as I expected, however it wouldn't be too surprising if they overtook. Nice sales for them both though, 30k+ practically in the bag.

Kylie heading for her biggest flop to date, although it seems safe for Top 75 which is better than what was being dreaded!

I'm surprised conitcha hasn't come over and done a bit of promo considering how everybody is still talking about him.

Also the common linnets should try to pop over too and secure their top 5! They won't and it'll be lucky to stay top 10 of course.

Sales will probably be the same for a Top 20 album now compared to what they sold to reach #73 in 2011!

Common Linets would benefit hugely if they done some UK promo this week, it would be worth a visit for them.

Very true - they managed 2,075 copies to reach #73! :P

So pleased that ESC songs are doing so well although they have started to drop off rapidly on iTunes - Amazing that a Dutch act that finished 2nd are on course for a Top 10 single and Top 40 album!

He has been in the news quite a bit this week though

Bad times although it looks good on paper and they will be able to claim another Top 20 album so not all bad! :P

I know that all publicity is seemingly good publicity but I can't imagine people seeing him in the news and thinking: 'Ah, so the Take That fella thinks it's okay to dodge his taxes, does he? That reminds me, I must check out his new album'.

It may remind the occasional person to buy the album that had previously planned on doing so.

His tax business has all but vanished now from the TV newscreens and papers - it was hidden away in the middle anyway (unlike Carr's business where the press kept it front page for weeks) so people are probably still loved up by the Corden Lickarse-athon. Someone may bring the subject up on Question Time this week (if its still on that is - I lose track and it'll be past my bedtime anyway) but after that I should imagine the whole business will be forgotten. Some of us will Never Forget like, but his fans have a lot of Patience and think the sun Shines out of his arse!

Sorry Martin for going off track - these are the last words from me on the subject (in this forum anyway) B-)
