I think it's actually pronounced as a J. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpIzE94xcFk&t=3s is one half of Klingande saying the title that way and Google Translate agrees. Regardless it's not a very English-friendly pronunciation

Oh okay, ignore me in that case. Better not pretend I understand Swedish pronunciation  (although I did look it up and 'j' is pronounced as a 'y' at least sometimes in Swedish anyway).

I've been pronouncing 'Klingande' as 'kling-an-duh' in my head but that's just how it would be pronounced if it was German which it obviously isn't.

Looks like there's a fairly big gap between #13 and #14, Twin Atlantic may be up to #11 fairly soon. Looks like we will get 5 new entries into the top 20 this week anyway which is fairly good, hopefully more than just the two in the top 10 though.

'Jubel' is some way behind #3 but I'm aware of the fact I commented about this for Fuse ODG last week and he did eventually get up to #2 on iTunes (although he'll end up #3 today most likely anyway so hopefully the same (or lower ) for Klingande).

Hurrah for SecondCity storming to No1!!! :cheer: Klingande for No2 plz. :)

YAY at Secondcity - the best dance song of the year so far imo (and this in a year of fantastic tracks like I Got U and Hideaway).

They pronounced 'Klingande' as 'clin-gand' on Radio 1 the other week, so I just presumed that was right.

Not often these fake ones get into the charts these days! Shows how in-demand it is I guess.

The OCC have tweeted:

Due to coverage of @BBCR1's #BigWeekend coverage, the #OfficialChart will start at the slightly later time of just after 6pm today.

oh yay :mansoncheer:

i guess that means we'll just be getting the top 10 and no new entries between 11-40? :(

looks that way :manson:

I was looking forward to 'A Sky Full Of Stars' entering too. It's not as if it'll only spend one week top 40 though so it's not that bad. And I doubt 'Midnight' will make the top 40
I think the only song that might miss out on ever being played on the chart show due to this Big Weekend is 'Ten Feet Tall' (as it's dropped all the way to #45 on iTunes already, with no other versions top 200).

Doesn't that apply to all the singles from this album? :P I actually like 'Ten Feet Tall' a lot more than the last two singles (did like 'The Spark' for a while but got bored of it, while I never liked 'As Your Friend') but it's certainly not a patch on 'Take Over Control'.

It is annoying that so many of the big names in dance are turning to generic trash to get hits recently (Tiësto, Armin Van Buuren etc.) especially at a time when mainstream dance music is arguably less 'generic trash' than it has been for years.

I'll give you Tiesto but Armin van Buuren only went proper generic for one song (This Is What It Feels Like) before going back to more clubby stuff (Save My Night, Ping Pong etc.)
That's still one more than the acceptable amount ~ (I'd have forgiven him if 'This Is What It Feels Like' was actually a good song but it really wasn't. On the other hand 'Red Lights' actually is a fairly good song IMO as sell-out-y as it was).
