August 3, 201412 yr 'Boom Clap' is growing on me. Would go so far as to say I quite like it now. BARS AND ACTUAL MELODY (must be the record for quickest induction into the hall of ACTUAL fame)
August 3, 201412 yr Streaming + sales might mean lower peak but if a song takes off and becomes truly popular outside the initial fanbase it can spend long time on charts. Boom Clap might be one example of this.

August 3, 201412 yr I can't believe "It's My Brithday" was #1 and the far superior "Home" has missed the top 40. It makes me wonder sometimes, as much as I get people like the track I just find it grates and has to be his worst solo track to date (even more then T.H.E...yes I know!) The British public just don't know a good thing when they hear it :(

August 3, 201412 yr Bars And Melody just scream 'obscure footnote in pop history'. 2014's Daphne & Celeste? Bars' faux American accent ruins this song.
August 3, 201412 yr 05 00 01 Bars And Melody Hopeful http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v369/DandyHighwayman/supermanson.gif and not even that is a big enough manson
August 3, 201412 yr They got physicals too. Yeah and judging by the number of screaming girls I saw at Manchester HMV on Thursday they may have done a fair few thousand on CD. Hope Alan Jones reveals how many.
August 3, 201412 yr I appreciate the message and everything but this studio version especially is really quite cringe and Americanised.
