I'm just happy The Saturdays will probably make Dannii's Greatest Tits make look more successful:

great start for kiesza looking good for a top5 place on sunday~ :cheer:
I've struggled to find the album tbh, it wasn't even in Asda when I looked earlier and they've always supported The Sats!

Come to think of it, didn't see it in Tesco either.

^^Tesco and Asda are not stocking it, Only Sainsbury's are for £6.99 and they have listed it as a new entry at #69 in their in store chart!

Great! My local Sainsbury's only stocks a top 20 :(

Is it even WORTH stocking it at #69? :drama:

Here's hoping Twin Atlantic can hold on Top 40 this week. I interviewed them a few years ago and were such nice guys and is fantastic to see them get success. 'Free' should of also been a huge Top 40 for them too.

Exactly - It shows that the general view by entertainment buyers that this was not worth stocking even in a quiet sales period

Shocked at 6 for The Saturday's GH, With all round crap sales, I thought they could have reached no1.

'Free' is by far my favourite track of theirs made me sit up and take notice.

Yay! Grant Nicholas #14, should hopefully be Top 40 by the end of the week then. I have the vinyl and deluxe CD versions...
#6 is an excellent position for a girlband who haven't been relevant for over a year. Anyone thinking top 5 or #1 is deluded. It will be lucky if it hangs on in the top 10 for the rest of the week. Times have moved on The Saturdays are essentially done.

To be honest their album was only 10 copies away from the top 5, so they did well to get that high. If album sales are low they could just about manage a top 10 in the end, but I just have a niggling feeling its going to fall out.

As for the single unfortunately that is going to drop, that's currently #24 on iTunes at the rate its going, it might not even manage a top 40 entry, we shall see on Friday's mids.

I think The Sats are safe for top 40 since they were #10 yesterday. I largely doubt it would go from 10 in Tuesday's mids to 41+ by Sunday. I guess that might have happened before but perhaps in only rare occasions. I would be happy if it held top 20 although top 30 looks more possible and I wouldn't be too fussed considering they have been around for 6 years now and haven't yet had a single miss the top 40 which is a very good feat in my book.

I would say it's more likely to happen now with streaming being added to the charts. I think they'll miss top 40 with the single as it's already dropping like a stone on i-tunes and the majority of songs behind it are going to benefit way more from streaming than them.

I don't even think the Saturdays fans care much about the single now. It's just very disappointing that the album has only sold 2.7k.
