I'd say a lot of instant grants from Taylof will swamp the top 10 by mid October lol
I don't think she'll ever be able to top 'I Knew You Were Trouble.' for me, but this is actually rather good upon first listen. Very cliche lyrics of course, but ultimately so feel good I can't help but get swept away. VERY Avril Lavigne 'Best Damn Thing' era actually, maybe that's why I quite like it.

I was just saying this to Jonjo on FaceBook. The video is very similar to that of Girlfriend/Hot, for me it does anyway

Grows on each listen. I'm so hooked I can't stop moving n grooving :P

I thought this was an overstatement, but no, it's pretty much true. she looks SO uncomfortable for most of the video. hate the whole 'one of the people, haters gonna hate' thing, you're not Geri Halliwell love.

I actually really like 'Shake If Off'. :o A fun song, doesn't seem to be taking herself seriously in this one. Sounds like it's going to be huge!

Insanely catchy, I shamelessly love it already after 3 listens. I just wanna shake shake shake.

Reminds me of Girlfriend, although I mainly got that from the ending..

i was going to say!

that middle-8 is very 'girlfriend'

i guessed from the first 10 seconds that it is a max martin production

I thought exactly the same about the middle 8! The song and video as a whole slightly reminds me of 'All About That Bass' but not too much and that's only a good thing anyway.

This is just getting better with every listen and I absolutely love the video, especially the scene where she is singing in front of the saxophones and backing singers - it just looks so fabulous!

She seems to be alienating some people who were real fans of her country material, but as much as Fearless made me a fan and I will miss songs like Should've Said No, Love Story and You're No Sorry, I think it's good she's progressing with her sound as being the girl next door singing straight from her diary won't make her a worldwide star in the same way as pop like this, WANEEGBT and I Knew You Were Trouble will. She's gonna be massive this era, rightfully so! This song is just so good, insanely catchy!

Taylor is one of the artists I truly stan and just can't view objectively though tbh

Basically exactly this.

Perfect song for her to come back with.

(although at the moment I prefer the new Hilary Duff single )
It is a brilliant, big, pop song. It does everything so perfectly! This will be huge.
Move over west coast and ghost, shake it off is my favourite 2014 song. I've listened to it already about at least 50 times probably and it gets better with every listen, I am in love with it

Brilliant song, incredibly infectious. She's the perfect popstar.

I guess 'haters gonna hate' will become more of a thing again now though...

It's incredibly basic, and that's even compared to the first singles from Red! I mean it's effortlessly catchy, but I want the Taylor that had things to SAY* and cared about her music back. I get that this song/the video is a total ''IDGAF that I've sold out, I'm happy/making more money than ever'', which is fine for her, but it's not what I want from her.

* I know she's doing that here with the 'hater's gonna hate' SHTICK, but that's hardly anything new.

This is absolutely diabolical. I've not seen an artist dip in quality quite so much in a long time. Such a shame, she used to be superb.
I love the bit where she is dressed like Fergie when she was in B.E.P
