Other single releases this week in the shape of G.R.L. "Ugly Heart", Oliver $ & Jimi Jules "Pushing Out" and Ferreck Dawn & Redondo "Love Too Deep" but its not looking very good for them, they could just about finished off inside the top 75 by the end of the week. And possibility A Great Big Word feat. Christina Aguilera returning back inside the top 40 chart with "Say Something" and The Cast Of Ghost (The Musical) "With You" which might just wear off by the end of the week on the back off the new 11th series of ITV's X Factor weekend. The album chart could see Maroon 5 with "V" taking the #1 spot or Royal Blood maintaining the #1 album for a second week. Other new album releases for The Pierces "Creation" and Lonely The Brave "The Day's War", both albums vying for a top 10 finish with Pulled Apart By Horses "Blood", Beverley Craven "Change Of Heart, The Kooks "Listen" and Klangkarussell "Netzwerk" fighting for a place inside the top 40. ======================================================= Please note new changes to the Sunday Chart Predictions thread topic: Tuesday/Thursday - There will be no mids from MW for Tuesday and Thursday, however they may come from other sources - this is not always guaranteed. September 1, 201412 yr Love Too Deep is such a tune, gutted it's looking likely to miss the top 40...
September 2, 201412 yr I think sales in the singles charts are hung to be very close in the top 3 but if Lilly Wood cant vet a second week I'm really hoping Duke can get his 3rd number one! I think GRL could be a surprise top 10 entry I was sure they wouldn't have done as well on iTunes as it has!

September 2, 201412 yr I think Prayer in C will be #1, thanks to streaming EDIT: will be difficult based on mids above :P What happened to Kate Bush on album chart Edited September 2, 201412 yr by SKOB
September 2, 201412 yr What happened to Kate Bush on album chart She has 4 remaining in the Top 40, including The Whole Story at #8. By the way, 'Won't Look Back' was #169 last week due to streaming, thus giving a 169-1 climb if Duke can hold on.
September 2, 201412 yr Looks like The Script will beat Duke to #1 then. :( They should discount his song or something.
September 2, 201412 yr Author Thanks Liam, I think its between the Script and Duke Dumont, big gap for Lilly Wood to overtake. As for the albums, its still open, later updates will probably shed more light on the subject. There is only 1.4k gap between the top 4
September 2, 201412 yr Author By the way, 'Won't Look Back' was #169 last week due to streaming, thus giving a 169-1 climb if Duke can hold on. I'm loving the big climbs :D if the Duke can hold on
September 2, 201412 yr I think it's inevitable The Script will beat it to #1, frustratingly. I hope Duke can at least keep top 2 in that case.
September 2, 201412 yr First Amelia Lily, now this. Why are they always doing this to such good songs?!
September 2, 201412 yr Shock horror at Maroon 5 not being #1 :o should be #2 by Sunday I think. So far the drop outs of the top 40 are. Hideaway, Only Love Can Hurt..., Rather Be, Summer, Fancy, A Sky Full of Stars & Giant In My Heart & Let It Go (at last :o) really sad that GIMH only spent 3 weeks top 40 :( deserved better! Edited September 2, 201412 yr by R.o.b.
September 2, 201412 yr Author Some good news Idina is out of the 40, and here is the bad news Happy gone up
September 2, 201412 yr Shock horror at Maroon 5 not being #1 :o should be #2 by Sunday I think. I wouldn't think so if Ed Sheeran is already ahead. I think they could struggle holding onto #3 too since Sam Smith isn't far behind.
September 2, 201412 yr I wouldn't think so if Ed Sheeran is already ahead. I think they could struggle holding onto #3 too since Sam Smith isn't far behind. Oh yeah didn't bear that in mind. Suprising underperformance but then after hearing snippets of the album I'm not too fussed :P
September 2, 201412 yr Shock horror at Maroon 5 not being #1 :o should be #2 by Sunday I think. So far the drop outs of the top 40 are. Hideaway, Only Love Can Hurt..., Rather Be, Fancy, Giant In My Heart & Let It Go (at last :o) NO NO NO :( :( :( :( :( :( 3 of the 10 best songs of the year are leaving (OLCHLT and Fancy, I'll get to the other one later) Rather be and Hideaway are great long runners and giant in my heart deserved to be a massive hit as its amazing And this could be the end for one of the best songs ever :( I want Let It Go to stay forever The chart is going to be terrible this week if they all leave Anyway yay at G.R.L having a great debut and Taylor still going strong Edited September 2, 201412 yr by Ultraviolence1989
September 2, 201412 yr 2 out of Rather Be, Fancy & Let It Go will be back in by Sunday at the expense of Love Too Deep & MNEK. Edited September 2, 201412 yr by Dobbo
