September 3, 201412 yr Any idea what Black Widow is on ? I want to know if GRL stand a chance of staying top 5?
September 3, 201412 yr Author Any idea what Black Widow is on ? I want to know if GRL stand a chance of staying top 5? G.R. L. are 1.1k ahead of AzaOra
September 3, 201412 yr G.R. L. are 1.1k ahead of AzaOra Do you mean Taylor is 1.1 ahead of AzOra? Because GRL are 2.8 ahead of Taylor at 5?
September 3, 201412 yr Author Do you mean Taylor is 1.1 ahead of AzOra? Because GRL are 2.8 ahead of Taylor at 5? oops correct, for some reason I had GRL on the brain, maybe because they look too hot :D
September 3, 201412 yr oops correct, for some reason I had GRL on the brain, maybe because they look too hot :D 3.9k away from falling from top 5. Hopefully they can manage it, but I can see a #6 fate.
September 3, 201412 yr SO happy for GRL, Ugly Heart is amazing and deserves to SMASH. I'm hoping it'll remain top 5 come Sunday and that it can somehow clear 35k? Great to see Iggy / Rita climbing, I'm sure it has further yet to ascend. Katy and 5SOS need to get a move on up into the Top 20, it's killing me to see Katy only have two Top 20 hits to her name from PRISM and I want 5SOS to sustain a Top Ten run with their singles. September 3, 201412 yr 5SOS have no chance of a Top Ten with Amnesia. I think Amnesia will peak around 22 with the full release next week so yeah cancelling any hope of a 3rd consecutive top 10 hit. Edited September 3, 201412 yr by R.o.b.
September 3, 201412 yr Yolanda Quartey, who also featured on Sub Focus - Turn Back Time. Ah, so not Martha Walsh from Black Box of 'Ride On Time' fame then. :P
September 3, 201412 yr I don't think Katy deserves any more top 20 successes from PRISM. It's a major step down from her Teenage Dream era. 'Dark Horse' is the only good thing to come from her this time around. I actually wish Katy would go back to having more edge like she did during her OOTB era. I wonder if Radio 1 will playlist G.R.L. now that it's in the top 5 midweeks.
September 3, 201412 yr It looks like the Script might have it then :o Would be very pleased if that was the result, I saw them in concert a couple months ago opening for OneRepublic and they almost stole the show. They were incredible.
September 3, 201412 yr Quite close sales in that top 3, Script will be number one on the next update but I'm hoping Lilly's climb on iTunes and increased streaming could really give her a chance, i think/hope it's possible she can close that 10k gap between 3 and 1
September 3, 201412 yr "Prayer In C" gained 800 on "Superheroes" today despite being behind on iTunes (thanks to streaming), so now that they are #1 there if they can hold that, it probably will overtake The Script in a couple of days.
September 3, 201412 yr Author Quite close sales in that top 3, Script will be number one on the next update but I'm hoping Lilly's climb on iTunes and increased streaming could really give her a chance, i think/hope it's possible she can close that 10k gap between 3 and 1 Script and Duke Dumont have hardly any stream sales, Duke on 2% and Script 1%, Lilly Wood has the greatest of 10%, I don't think Script will get the #1, more than likely Lilly Wood will push them down.
September 3, 201412 yr We have top 5 sales as well, hmmm.... I wouldn't rule out Lilly Wood now... update coming soon with yours truly :D Surely The Script are better placed to catch DD...
September 3, 201412 yr 'Prayer in C' has gone from being 12.5k behind #1 to 9.7k behind (a 2.8k difference) so I'd say they could make #2 at least. May be a bit of a challenge to reach #1, suppose it could do it if it has a big streaming boost this weekend. I'm hoping it can make it since Duke Dumont's chances of holding on are slim, would be better than The Script (their song is quite good but not #1 material for me).
September 3, 201412 yr Boo @ Duke Dumont looking likely to miss the top spot ~ I just hope it's Lily Wood who prevails come Sunday. Hopefully Oliver $ & Jimi Jules can hold onto a top 20 place with the excellent 'Pushing On' ~ somewhat fearful for Ferreck Dawn & Redondo 'Love Too Deep' should be storming the top five not struggling to stay top40. Overall a highly frustrating week for my faves~
September 3, 201412 yr Ah, so not Martha Walsh from Black Box of 'Ride On Time' fame then. :P That was Loleatta Holloway who sang Ride on Time actually. Edited September 3, 201412 yr by zenon
