September 21, 201412 yr Still not sure on this one, been around for ages, originally didn't like it, find it more appealing right now.
September 21, 201412 yr 'My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark' continues to be the best Fall Out Boy track by LEAGUES. Thnks Fr Th Mmrs takes that title .
September 21, 201412 yr Nice to hear Hozier in the chart, I hope the track continues to climb, they are performing this week on Jools Holland Tues and Friday.
September 21, 201412 yr Keeping my eye on BJSC'ers praising Take Me To Church later on that didn't vote for it a year ago, causing it to finish ELEVENTH! (WOO for it finally charting though obviously) Guilty of this, sorry. It was close to my votes honest!11 Great to see it in the top 40  Such a gorgeous and standout song and voice. Really hope this can prove to be a sleeper hit. (Looks like the only exciting thing happening this week sadly) Edited September 21, 201412 yr by Chez Wombat
September 21, 201412 yr I didn't like Take Me To Church when it was sent to BJSC. And I still don't like it now. I don't get why it's popular tbh Anyway when was the last chart hit remotely related to religion/church? :o I get that the 'church' is a metaphor but still it's not a regular subject matter for a chart hit these days
September 21, 201412 yr It's unique sounding & welcome to the current stale state of the chart, but it's one that'll get more irritating with every listen...

I don't get why it's popular tbh Anyway when was the last chart hit remotely related to religion/church? :o I get that the 'church' is a metaphor but still it's not a regular subject matter for a chart hit these days Weren't there a couple of Christian campaign hits in the last five years? I guess the last genuinely popular song about religion was Shackles (Praise You) by Mary Mary.
September 21, 201412 yr Number one a COUPLE of weeks ago?! I'm totally over this now due to overplay, but am still really into 'Break Free'! The less said about 'Bang Bang', the better.
September 21, 201412 yr I cannot stand Arianna Grande's voice. And collaborating with everyone doesn't make an artist amazing. Oh for the days where collaborations were so rare you could actually get excited by one. That Hozier track was good though.
September 21, 201412 yr Anyway when was the last chart hit remotely related to religion/church? :o I get that the 'church' is a metaphor but still it's not a regular subject matter for a chart hit these days 'Judas'?

September 21, 201412 yr 'This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race' is still Fall Out Boy's best song for me - the mainstream choice but yeah ~ I'm not sure whether 'Take Me To Church' is the second or third UK single - were both 'From Eden' and 'Sedated' pushed here before? I know at least one of them was playlisted by R1 (though I don't remember which) and there is an EP for 'From Eden' on UK iTunes.
