Cheryl back to #2 :o

Seems like the #1 news gave her a big boost tonight! :cheer:

Simon Cowell mentioned her record on XF tonight, that's maybe helped her :)

Disappointed to see Gareth Malone at 16...unlikely it will be a number one but hopefully well see a climb after the TV show tomorrow night

Plus CIN on Friday will give it a boost, so I'm sure it will be at least Top 10. Im not sure if there's a physical version available for it. The normally is for the CIN tracks, so that should help it too.

Oh wow at The Veronicas. Ashamed to say i haven't even heard the single but amazing that it's top 10 off the back of no promo!? :o (it's on my ever growing list of things to listen to)

Happy to see 'Like I Can' doing well. Will probably be around for ages once radio grab hold of it. He's the artist to have one of the biggest turnarounds for me. HATED the insufferable 'Money On My Mind' but the album and everything since has been wonderful.

Faultless performance from Sam Smith. Effortless live performance - take note Cheryl
Oh. It was amazing when he did that choreography. :)

Edit: Come on Veronicas  Please be a Jar Of Hearts type smash!

Peter Kay never made the Top 10 on iTunes with his CiN song in 2009, yet still comfortably made #1 on the official chart. Though, granted this was in an era where physical singles weren't entirely dead and the physical DVD single was basically selling off the brilliant video.

Yeh that was a unique one, def the video made a difference!

'Money on My Mind' is one if my worst songs of the year, if not the worst.

It's very comfortably in my top few most hated songs of the year! Gah. Makes me shudder just thinking about it.

'Money On My Mind' is still the only good Sam Smith song for me (mind I haven't heard 'Like I Can' or any of his album tracks so not exactly a big sample size).
Sam Smirh is one of the most overrated artists out there right now. He has a nice enough voice, but it can be so whiny... I like La La La and Latch plus I'm Not The Only One though, and Leave Your Lover i guess. Everyone just acts like he's the best thing to come out of Britain ever or something and he's just... really not.

You'll probably prefer 'Like I Can' to his last few singles then as it's slightly more ~upbeat~ (for his standards anyway). I'm quite surprised actually, i thought he'd be an artist you'd really like for some reason, Lol.

The "I don't have (ridiculous falsetto) Money on my mind" bit is really quite annoying, the backing track is ok, and at least it is upbeat.

It would have been better if he'd replaced "Money" with "Always" in the song title and covered the Pet Shop Boys covering Elvis Presley.

'money on my mind' really is rather contradictory. if you're doing it for the love then why sign a mega bucks major label deal and allow yourself to be sandéd?

His singles so far sound very alike to me it's hard to differentiate them. I'm not the only one, is good I guess

Equally annoying.

Though "Latch" remains a tune, and so does the other Disclosure collar. "Together".
