Pretty annoyed by the Google Play situation, 19p for the Pogues has given it a huge boost while Mariah being free is obviously hindering her. <_< I wish AIWFCIY was also 19p. :(

Blame it on Google Play, ofc ~

Well in that case any producer can credit their name as an artist if they produce the song, which I don't think is right.

Songwriters probably should get more credit. A lot of the time its the sold that sells and not the singer.

On the other hand, they get all the royalties and revenue so it doesn't matter that much at the end of the day.

You know Pogues wouldn't be anywhere near as high up as they are without Google Play. x

It's a level playing field on Spotify, people just love to stream Mariah more. x

Anyone know how many copies Union J's debut sold on opening week? [Cant imagine it was much seeing as they have only sold about 70k in total]

17.3k to enter at #6.

How has George Ezra managed to suddenly drop to #38 since yesterday?

Streaming data for Sunday was missing in yesterday's update, it will now have been included.

And yet The Pogues are sleighing her overall *.* As they always do.

Because 19p. ^_^

CHVRCHES!

Would be nice to see them score their second top 40 hit with this, although 'Lies' is by FAR their best and should've been their big one.

First time hearing 'Get Away', I forgot / didn't know this was from the 'Drive' (re-)soundtrack - does that mean the second album could still be a while away? :( At least we have had more than one new song from them recently though with the fantastic 'Dead Air' from the Hunger Games soundtrack as well as this.

Rather liking it on first listen, not their best song though ('Dead Air' is a lot better, shame that did nothing).

Still have never been able to get into 'Lies' for some reason, easily their weakest single for me, possibly the worst song on their album...
