Ask everyone that bought Chocolate Salty Balls and Ernie, the fastest milkman in the West! :

Guilty for the former. And Mr Hanky the Christmas Poo.

that Got No Fans thing  well at least we get an 'interesting' entry in this not-so-interesting Christmas chart week, might as well embrace it~

To all the haters, u got no fans! (Unlike Gordon Hill )

Meh at this new Olly song. Not a patch on Wrapped (Up). Rather ploddy and uninteresting.

Lol at this.

Indeed - instead it's a long list of ex-lovers. Romance is now truly dead with that revelation :(

Not only that, there is a lack of coffee and cake treats :(

Not normally a fan of either Murs or Lovato, but quite liking "Up".

I know the proceeds of this went to charity and etc, but this is such a monstrosity. As I described in a thread this week, this is essentially an attempt to emulate a current dance track (like the Waze + Odyssey thing) by someone who can't produce music properly, and an old man with a lisp chanting all over it.

To be fair though, we get poor knock-offs of dance tracks with rubbish vocals the rest of the year round, so why should Christmas be any different?

After all, the Waze + Odyssey track is just a half-baked version of MK's version of 'Push The Feeling On'.

Up reminds me of something that I can't quite figure out

Actually does anyone know when the last time a completely novelty song got into the top 10/top 5? It's not frequent an occurence any more surely, most definitely not at Christmas.

This Olly Murs song is miles better than Wrapped Up, Demi actually sounds bearable/not screechy on it.

Biography

Edward Christopher "Ed" Sheeran (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. Raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he moved to London in 2008 to pursue a musical career. In early 2011, Sheeran released an independent extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project, which caught the attention of both Elton John and Jamie Foxx. He then signed to Asylum Records. His 2011 debut album, +, containing the singles "The A Team" and "Lego House", was certified quintuple platinum in the United Kingdom. In 2012, he won two BRIT Awards for Best British Male and British Breakthrough. "The A Team" won the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

Sheeran began to be known in the United States in 2012. He made a guest appearance on Taylor Swift's fourth studio album, Red, and wrote songs for One Direction. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards and he performed the song in duet with Elton John during the ceremony. He spent much of 2013 touring North America as the opening act for Taylor Swift's Red Tour. His second studio album is titled x, read as "multiply", and is scheduled for worldwide release on 23 June 2014. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards. - Wikipedia

This is on a whole other level though.

I'm not gonna disagree with that latter point either, I do not approve of it as 'Push The Feeling On' is an all-time classic for me.

Unbearably saccharine twaddle! :manson:
