Woo for this being a genuine enduring hit! A few weeks before its release I'd expected a chart run along the lines of 7-22-38-OUT for some reason

I first heard it as "star-crossed lovers". I can hear why people think she's singing starbucks lovers even though that makes no sense. :kink:
"Long list of ex-lovers".

To me it very clearly says that, but it's fair enough if people hear it differently...

I had no idea those were the words

I'm not sure what I thought she was saying at all!

Howard Donald has aged well.
Take That...cant believe I am going to say this, this is such a guilty pleasure for me  Glad it got number 1
Olly Murs getting a second top 5 post-album single :cheer: When will 1D even get one?
I had no idea those were the words

Me neither! I thought she was just saying a noise but now I know what it is I can't hear anything else and it seems so glaringly obvious. :drama:

Biography

The Wealdstone Raider (real name Gordon Hill) is an English Internet celebrity and meme, born and local in Wealdstone, London Borough of Harrow. A supporter of Wealdstone F.C., he came to attention due to a viral video of him heckling opposing supporters at Whitehawk F.C. in March 2013 with phrases such as "You want some?" and "You've got no fans". Hill claims to have been under the influence of alcohol during this heckling. - Wikipedia

LOVE THESE DAYS! Great to see it becoming a big hit for them

Good god, never saw this coming, it will bomb next week.

Sounds like Joe Pasquele

Give it them Wealdstone Raider *.* A pretty tacky and awful song but I can't help but love things like this.

('Up' beating 'Dear Darlin'' to now become Olly's highest peaking post-album single as well hooray. Well 'Dear Darlin'' is his best song so not hooray for that but hooray for him still setting new career bests in his fourth era ~)

Yes for at least one campaign single doing well!

Actually like this after a few listens, love a good novelty single (and for a good cause too!)

I wasn't expecting it to be #1 (more like a Top 3 or 5 at worst) but definitely not a flop of that nature - it is a lead Take That single after all! So pleased it got to #1 and that it's hanging around. :D

I am glad I wasn't alone with really thinking it was Starbucks Lovers. I guess you could have people that meet romantically in Starbucks

I know the proceeds of this went to charity and etc, but this is such a monstrosity. As I described in a thread this week, this is essentially an attempt to emulate a current dance track (like the Waze + Odyssey thing) by someone who can't produce music properly, and an old man with a lisp chanting all over it.

I wish lame campaigns like this wouldn't actually get off the ground.
