Zedd's had worse release strategies though. His single 'Find You' premiered over a year ago, and still isn't available to download on iTunes

It is however on a few compilations, but album only. I doubt it'll ever get released now unless it's on his next album

They weren't great but I wouldn't say 'non existent'- LFL reached the top 200 when it was first added (and got the occasional boost here and there), i'm pretty certain the single version would've jumped into the top 40 if its pre-orders were added

Comparing it to say, Amelia Lily's 'California' preorder; I'm pretty sure that went similarly high on iTunes initially and then dropped down, occasionally bobbing into the Top 1,500, but usually remaining nowhere to be seen! Iirc, that entered the iTunes chart similarly low upon release and then climbed up a bit in the first couple of days (due to being the only version available). I'd say Madonna's isn't climbing at all because there's already a much more visible version in the Top 10, so people don't really need to search for it or trawl down the chart to find it much lower!

 06. Madonna - Living for Love

 10. Sam Smith - Lay Me Down (+ #39)

 11. Axwell ^ Ingrosso - Something New

 15. Ed Sheeran - Bloodstream

 16. Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This (+ #88)

FFS, Sam Smith pushing Axwell out the top 10...though I never expected Something New to have done as well as it has done

Shame Madonnas dropped to 6, serves her right for not releasing this on Sunday

Yay for Paloma. Was by a large margin the best performance on Wednesday so rightfully benefitting hugely. Would be nice to hear it in the chart after a while actually. If it makes it which could happen!
Zedd/Selena isn't out til May 10th. TWO AND A HALF MONTHS!! I think that's one of the longest pre order I've ever seen.

Most preorders are quite ridiculous IMO Ed Sheeran Sing was another one I could think of last yr!

Not forgetting Neon Lights and ESPECIALLY Flutes :drama: (which to add it didn't help them very much in the chart!

Hope Kelly can stay top 10 for next week! Looking at the release schedule I think she'll be falling out, but only just (she'll have a second version to help her out slightly though). The top 10 contenders from the list I can see are:

Marlon Roudette – When The Beat Drops Out

Usher ft. Juicy J – I Don’t Mind

Years & Years – King

I can see Usher "doing a Ne-Yo" and starting off strong, whilst missing the top 10 completely. Poor The Veronicas though. 'If You Love Someone' is great and deserves to be a top 40 hit at least. :(

I can't believe it's actually being released, there's been nothing about this anywhere. Has it even had one single play on any music channel or radio station?

The new Usher song was pushed to 8 March (which may give him a better shot of making the top 10). Kelly's chance of staying for a second week should be helped by her album release, though I suppose streaming could still make all the difference~

Good news, hoping for it to make top 10 along with GDFR that week! (I think)

Also Alex Adair - Make Me Feel Better should (hopefully) be a top 10 hit next week.

The new Flo Rida and Usher songs would be very welcome in the top 10!
No chance. Fergie/Meghan Trainor/DJ Fresh did better overall on pre-orders and didn't even get close to #1 (sales wise).

Yes it did today on Wave Fm. First time I've heard it in over a month too. Oops~

Regarding Madonna's pre-order, it should've gone at least top 75 when released so I think there has been some issue. Diana Vickers' 'Cinderella' peaked at around #230 when first made available to pre-order and then quickly dropped down the chart never to be seen in the top 1500 again - yet it still entered iTunes at #55 when released. Surely Madonna should have managed at least that?
Well album pre-orders are no longer being reflected in the feed once they're released, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was the same for singles - the pre-orders didn't get lumped on on the iTunes chart (but of course are reflected officially).
