Not too fussed on 'Poison', it's okay but a huge step down from IWNLYD however it would be nice to see her grab another top 3/5 hit.

Shame 'Honey I'm Good' seems to have been pushed forward, would've been something very different to the current charts andd it's blowing up big time in America but I suppose it ain't really gonna replica that over here. Hopefully a top 75 hit, higher would be very welcomed though.

Edit - Rita #40

Edited by rob_s

I wouldn't mind Rita going to #1, it's not my favourite song of hers but it's still very good!

I really hope Rita gets to #1! 'Poison' is sfg and she deserves to at least match Cheryl, before Jess Glynne comes along and snatches both of their weaves!

Here's how I'd rank hers and Cheryl's number 1's, if she were to get there with it!

POP CLASSIC

01. 'Fight For This Love'

---

AMAZING POP

02. 'I Will Never Let You Down'

03. 'Poison'

04. 'R.I.P.'

05. 'Call My Name'

---

GENERICALLY GOOD POP

06. 'How We Do (Party)'

07. 'I Don't Care'

08. 'Hot Right Now'

---

BORING POP

09. 'Promise This'

---

B-SIDE AT BEST POP

10. 'Crazy Stupid Love'

^^ From these singles Cheryl beats Rita by a mile, the worst Cheryl single is better than the best Rita's one for me. Maybe just IWNLYD is higher than 'Promise This' but I'm still not convinced and that's it really.

That said, I don't really rate both at all. :P

38. RITA ORA - Poison

85. Krept & Konan - Freak of the Week (feat. Jeremih)

462. Eminem - Phenomenal (From "Southpaw")

565. Andy Grammer - Honey, I'm Good

Poison to smash please

And my ranking:

1. Fight for this love

Promise this

I will never let you down

R.i.p

How we do

Hot right now

I don't care

Poison

Crazy stupid love

10. Call my name

CMN is the only one I don't like and all the others are at least 9/10

1. Call My Name

2. Fight For This Love

3. I Don't Care

4. Crazy Stupid Love

5. I Will Never Let You Down

6. How We Do (Party)

7. R.I.P.

8. Promise This

9. Poison

10. Hot Right Now

So Cheryl quite clearly wins :kink: I love Rita though and I like all of those songs a lot!

Tinie to somehow hold onto #1 this week pls. I GUESS Rita would be preferable to Lost Frequencies otherwise, but I really don't want either of them to be #1s, beyond bland.

Growing to love the Krept & Konan song, hope it goes at least top 20.

Bleachers – I Wanna Get Better
loooooooooooool

Bleachers for #1 :cheer: :cheer:

1. Cheryl - Call My Name -- clear winner! love this, when Calvin on autopilot produced good results (though I consider this one of his best anyway). It's no '3 Words' (one of my top all time favourites) but very much a highlight

2. Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down -- very strong pop song and the sort of thing that always makes me inclined to defend her musical output (has Rihanna put out anything close to this in, like, 3.5 years?)

3. Cheryl - Crazy Stupid Love -- always great fun, elevated so much by the stomping beat

4. Rita Ora - Hot Right Now -- nothing compared to 'Louder' but definitely good

5. Rita Ora - How We Do (Party) -- loved this heaps at the time but never feel the need to hear it anymore, but solid

6. Cheryl - Promise This -- this song still confuses me. I like that.

7. Cheryl - Fight For This Love -- I don't really like the production but it's good enough to get by despite that

8. Cheryl - I Don't Care -- still like this

9. Rita Ora - Poison -- I hate this direction but it eventually grew on me and yeah it's fairly good (in a 6.5/10 sense), but I wanted much better after the long break

10. Rita Ora - R.I.P. -- nothing special. but when 'nothing special' is your worst I'm cool with that

No clear preference then! (Now if we added Jess Glynne...)

35. RITA ORA - Poison

75. Krept & Konan - Freak of the Week (feat. Jeremih)

369. Eminem - Phenomenal (From "Southpaw")

549. Andy Grammer - Honey, I'm Good

Why is Rita Ora still a thing?

Hope it flops tbh.

Quite even overall, but "Call My Name" is hands down my favourite of the songs by a mile. Will be interesting to see if Rita can get to #1. I don't think she will though.
