We're back a short hiatus, and sadly the massive Unicorn has been slain during that time. The song was always a bit of a dud for me UNTIL The Born This Way Ball where it (quite literally) came alive for me. An utterly breathtaking show opener, adorned above a gigantic mechanical unicorn, the Lady emerged and breathed new life into the song. As the title suggests, it is yet another song that fits the theme of the album and it does it in a frenzied, dark and magical way. More personally to Gaga, it is about her lonely travels on the road living her dream and has gone on to become a signature song from the era for all that it represents and that tour opener. Ride ride pony, you did good~

'Highway Unicorn' deserved top 10 at the very least :( Going for 'You & I' here, it's aged the worst out of the ones left despite me still really liking it!
