3 John Newman Come and Get It

Though Shine has been ahead of John Newman combined for a while anyway, so it doesn't make much difference. I think John is on lockdown for the #4 position on Friday.

Oh TayTay. Why so sensitive? :(
I've not heard either of their new songs, but I'm assuming here that neither artist has deviated very much from their standard music.

Calvin's track is actually fairly different for him, although I'd put that down to Disciples' input.

Crazy how well 'Shine' is holding up - I really thought it'd be their 'Glow'/'Extraordinary'/'Giant In My Heart' and fly down the chart despite a top 10 peak. Then again, I guess it's had a hell of a lot more airplay than any of them received. Quite glad it's sticking around, it's grown on me massively in the past few days.

 99. Major Lazer featuring Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley - Powerful  it would do quite well if Capital focus more on this than murdering "Lean On"

 32. Shaggy featuring Mohombi, Faydee & Costi - I Need Your Love :cheer: getting that boost from today's This Morning

My mad aunt's second husband that is!!

I think it's a wonderful song, and a lot stronger than the songs you mentioned. But I think a big reason it's holding up so well is the hype of the album being #1. (Though of course a lot of those album sales much be owed to 'Shine' all the same.)

Now that would be a shock headline about Mr Boombastic.

144 Foxes Body Talk

Songs lower on pre-orders have managed to go top 10 in the past, so I'm keeping everything crossed that Foxes can manage this. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if she ended at #11, though 12 - 14 is most likely.

I think Foxes will jump up to around 120ish before tommorow which will mean it will be at least a shore-fire top 15 for her.

I missed Shaggy on This Morning. Devastated
