Ella Eyre's label must have lost SO MUCH money on her.

Constant love from Radio 1, yet it never translates into a smash hit. Time for another Rudimental/DJ Fresh feature?

Hmm I still find 'Fight Song' very overrated sadly :( it's just so plain and ordinary...

I guess it's good to see something of this ilk going to #1 though we don't see it happen often nowadays. Yass JoJo, still slaying

Fight Song is just absolutely formula and unimaginative, I dont hate it, the lack of any artistry or talent on show just irritates me :0)

On Ella Eyre, she just seems like an album artist to me. Worthy, but lacking star appeal. A very good live performer though tbf.

R. Kelly - Backyard Party should be on the new releases list, Rachel Platten will be moving aside as the highest new entry once I get through to Radio 1xtra
Really hope Fight Song doesn't get #1, I know it seems inevitable and I don't dislike it or anything, it just does nothing for me. It's like every "everything's gonna be okay, empowering anthem" cliche has been thrown into one song and shouted at us by a woman who sounds like she has no control over her voice, no identity which sets her apart from any other artist.
Alex Jaehn?

That was a typo from someone...

Ok. I was thinking that Felix had a twin brother or something that we were not told about

Boo at "Fight Song" doing well - dull. I'd be all for "Don't Be So Hard on Yourself" spending a second week at #1, but unless the streaming really picks up she'll be overtaken by Charlie Puth & Meghan Trainor this week (so "Marvin Gaye" could well return to number-one).

Got everything crossed that Ella Eyre can at least chart in the T20 though - very talented artist, shame she just doesn't seem to be releasing the right material at the right time. Hopefully she's someone that doesn't peak with in her debut.

Not a massive fan of Fight Song or Ain't Nobody if I am honest, so would much rather see Charlie Puth or Calvin Harris get it in the end. Neither FS or AN are bad, but they just don't really sound special. Getting a bit fed up of these dance remixes of older songs with their own beat or singer. I worry for a future generation that thinks this is the original and has no idea who Chaka Khan is.

2. Rachel Platten - Fight Song

5. Felix Jaehn - Ain't Nobody (Loves Me Better) [feat. Jasmine Thompson]

19. Ella Eyre - Good Times

38. Madcon - Don't Worry (feat. Ray Dalton) [Radio Version]

52. The Neighbourhood - R.I.P 2 My Youth

58. JoJo - When Love Hurts

79. Foxes - Feet Don't Fail Me Now

113. Rod Stewart - Love Is

117. Carrie Underwood - Smoke Break

208. A-ha - Under the Makeup

Nick Jonas - Levels has disappeared

1D back up to #11, coming for the top 10 again after the video release, excellent :D

It is quite frustrating for chart run purposes that if they release OAOS that they don't have the video ready for the release!?

1.0332 Jess Glynne - Don't Be So Hard on Yourself (#16 on Spotify)

1.0000 Rachel Platten - Fight Song (#30 on Spotify)

I'm hoping Jess could do the double, I find the Rachel Platten track a bit of a non-event, its different though.

Nothing big the following week, could see a track climbing back up to #1, unless some track from the X Factor auditions have a second lease of life.

OA/OS releases & video releases will probably be staggered out for most releases, to give the song a second wind! Not sure how effective it would be to release the song & video at the same time.

Was hoping the video effect would have a bigger impact for Rita Ora than it has :(
