This for me is leagues ahead of 'Fight Song'. With a punchy chorus like that it wasn't exactly difficult to get me on board. I'm all for anthemic songs like this  shame it probably won't do anything :(

Yay, I've finally got a good excuse to bump this lovely song

Music video:

Stunning video. She is gorgeous! Really want her to become more than a one hit wonder though, so if this could get a move on and be a hit, that'd be great!

agreed

sfg babe, mild contempt for the veneer thing but this song is beyond undeniable and that video knew EXACTLY what it wanted to do

Wow just listening to this for the first time and I'm hooked. Definitely better than Fight Song (which is still amazing tho).

An "impact date" of 22nd January for this song apparently! I wonder if that means she is hoping to promote? Hope soooo!

#17 on USA iTunes now :D

It's getting next to no pop support by US Radio but HAC are supporting it quite heavily now. 'Stand By You' has been supported by Radio 2, I'm hoping Radio 1 support 'Stand By You' this week, I don't see why they would snub her after a #1 smash, although they did this to Meghan.

#14 on US iTunes now. I think this has a chance of exploding on Pop radio in the US once all the year end countdowns are over (lots of older songs get airplay there at the end of the year making it harder for newer songs to gain until it's all over in the first/second week of January).

Hope Heart/Capital FM support "Stand By You". Much prefer it to "Fight Song".

Top 10 on US iTunes at #7! :cheer: Should climb to #6 with "Ex and Oh's" freefalling/with the top 10 effect.
Fantastic Stuff! Any reason for it's massive boost?
This is growing on me so much, what a tune
Can this please replicate its success across the pond please, it's one of my favourite if not my favourite non dance tune of 2015

I heard this on a local commercial radio station yesterday, so I'm optimistic that at least Capital or Heart will playlist it. It certainly has the potential to be a reasonably sized Top 40 hit at least!

Holy shit, that chorus is so good. Such a 'Roar'/'Brave' rip-off and it's generally extremely derivative, as has been said, but when it's all executed that well it doesn't really matter. I've no respect for the song but will happily enjoy it for the time being - kind of reminds me of 'Me And My Broken Heart' in that way.

It's quite interesting to see an artist as bland and dated as Rachel seemingly catching on in a big way, but it's a bit premature to make that call I guess. Maybe her complete lack of edge actually gives her an edge in today's climate?! I hope it's not symbolic of an overall market shift to the unremarkable anyway~
