I agree, although I don't even agree that these songs don't have big choruses.

 

Most of the songs are super addictive. 'Bigger Than Me' is LUSH :wub:.

I'm loving the Big Brother Live Stream. I'm totally addicted to Nugget though, literally the most adorable dog.

 

Still don't like the album at all, it really is so bland, nothing stands out bar the released singles.

I just find the rollout so bizarre. There is no hype? Where is the promo? It feels like there is no single right now, even with the Bon Appetit video being so recent.

 

It's not Britney Jean, nothing will be that bad for such a massive popstar but this is really tired and disappointing.

This is the first time we've had no UK promo for album rollout. I feel like her carpool karaoke should have been released this week, as sadly it was swallowed up by the Manchester tragedy.

She's been in the UK the last couple of weeks, so I'm not sure why she hasn't bothered promoting it?

'Hey Hey Hey' is a banger. It's really wormed it's way into my affections. I never thought it was "awful" or "worst song on the album" as others seemed to, but it's SO GOOD.

 

I also get 'I Like It Rough' vibes during the chorus of 'Roulette'! :lol:

and I'm still on the fence about 'Tsunami'.

 

The ballads were to be expected. I'm not a ballad kind of person and especially Katy's ballads in general are not my thing.

This album is growing rapidly!

 

It's so much more than pop hooks and choruses. It takes getting used to, but once you're in it's actually a pretty special album!

Predicted for 225K in the US which is quite good as she hasn't really had a big hit.
