Well I have succeeded with anime songs (Requiem), just not with any unaltered openings. However it being from possibly the best anime and, more importantly, being a song that I've kept loving long after I finished watching it because of the amazing vocal work and strings Kalafina do and have, I have HOPE.

I must be the only person on this forum who doesn't understand the concept of this event...

 

As someone whose never followed these discussions before, what do I need to know to get involved?

Here's an interesting fact about TARO Bellamia: 10 out of the last 11 entries (since they first landed in NBC) have been male, with the only exception being Maty Noves from two contests prior. And they're adding 20-year-old Ryan Lawrie to the list. He got discovered through YouTube covers (not like that's become much of a surprise), and now he's going for gold here. Can this latest X Factor contestant traverse his way into the top tier?

If I stick to what I have in mind for the next couple of months, I may be going female for the final 2 contests this year! I'm all for Avicii being entered for it being a 50th anniversary, but "Dear Boy" with MØ having just been knocked off #1??? Was there no other Avicii song that could have been used? :lol:
