How fast do we expect Matt Terry to get to iTunes number one then?

I think less than an hour if it really is going to be an original song. Though Louis has a big lead at the moment so it may have to wait until tomorrow morning.

Does anyone actually expect him (or more likely Saara) to get to number 1? Last years struggled greatly didn't it and I can't see any improvement this year.

I do think whoever wins will reach #1 on iTunes and hold on till Wednesday evening! Not enough to secure the official #1 as I can't see it's streaming being amazing but we'll see I guess!

Are they usually there by like midnight? Either way the winner should pull out a huge lead by tomorrow, and provided they have a competent, pop-appealing song lined up they'll probably hold on for the official #1

Buzzjack seems so divided in terms of who the Official #1 will be  Where do we reckon Little Mix'll get to on iTunes/Officially?

Officially~

#2 | X-Factor Winner

#7 | Little Mix (Touch)

#15 | Little Mix (Oops)

I'm very sure they'll reach top 5 at least, Matt will anyway.

I don't think we can say for definite either way until we've heard the song tbf, Louisa would've been higher last year with a better song.

Seeig as last years winner limped in at number 9 and with streaming now bigger, I'd say with the 3 days list sales that's top 20 would be lucky

This thread already has more replies than last week's iTunes thread!

Last year's choice was awful though, if it's a pop track this year it'll 100% reach a higher place.

It's going to get even busier tonight!

I wish all weeks were like this, great to see so much activity here.

Only the second time it's an original song too so at least we won't have to hear all the "the original is so much better" waffle!

But I want to go back to the covers.. :heehee:

No seriously though, the covers just feels like another Live Lounge performance but in front of 10,000 people who brought a £5 ticket to watch the performance but only get an Oreo in exchange.

The X-factor winner doesn't have physicals this year right? But with it being an original and apparantly radio/stream friendly song, I could see Matt or Sara doing a lot better than Louisa's rather horrible cover (not Louisa's fault!). Top 5 seems likely if it's put on lots of big spotify playlists asap.
