THE DJ BATTLE!!!

Your countries finest DJs have been asked to send a song that represents your country, and will represent each entry at the world's most prestigious nightclub, so big that it also serves as an arena - of course it's Aelan's Watermelon Club Arena. Because it's big n' juicy like a watermelon.

Select DJs however will be pitted against each other, and only the DJs that get the loudest crowd reaction may progress to the final set. 40 entries (20 in each semi-final) will qualify, leaving 20 songs behind.

Until then, join semi-final hosts Gareth Emery, Standerwick and HALIENE who will take a good look at who they could potentially be passing the winning baton to.

You must vote using the 12-point system (12/10/8/7/6/5/4/3/2/1). You may only vote in the semi-final your song is in. You may not vote for your own entry.

The deadline for voting is 18/03/17, 23:59 GMT. Late votes will be accepted up until 16:00 the next day, but any late voters will suffer a 15% deduction. Any non-voters will suffer a 33% deduction.

I already have ten songs to vote for and I haven't listened to the entire semi :drama: :drama:

Never seen Beaverdonia's flag before, it truly is a masterpiece! :wub:

I count at least 11 songs in semi 1 that sounded like instant favourites from the clips on plug, looks like the stronger semi here by far I think! Only like 4 or 5 in my own semi (plus the autoqualifier) that were on the same level. Of course cannot judge these songs based on just the clips (not least my own song lmao!!1) but definitely more hyped to hear the other semi than my own at the moment. Semi 2 still sounded potentially pretty good.

Not really sure about my chances of qualifying in this semi, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Kylienips hype is at least a good start!

Listened to about two thirds of the first semi final this morning (the ones that were on Spotify anyway). Mixed bag for me, but some good tracks. Everyone seems to think the first semi is incredibly strong from the reveal thread, so still cautious over a Bhangra qualification!

I have a feeling Ryder is going to miss out for the third time :drama: Semi 1 looks really strong, listened to the first half already, some crackers in there, its going to be hard to wittle them down to 10 tracks. I just hope Ubu gets through
