May 29, 20178 yr I guess this means Gaga is #7. Impressive that she managed to sell more than Beyonce in just 4 years (2009 - 2013)! Edited May 29, 20178 yr by BigMixer
May 29, 20178 yr Beyoncé needs to release her best of compilation . 2 versions , single and double cd .
May 29, 20178 yr I guess this means Gaga is #7. Impressive that she managed to sell more than Beyonce in just 4 years (2009 - 2013)! I believe Gaga's sales were just ahead of Britney in 2012. I think Britney may come out ahead of her as her totals will include Scream & Shout, whereas Gaga only released Applause between 2012-2013.

KATY PERRY (7,657,000) 17 HITS 2008-2013 BIGGEST HIT: FIREWORK A woman who not only gave up Gospel music but ran away from it, Perry’s international arrival came with the faux lesbian “I Kissed A Girl” in 2008 a transatlantic chart topper (though you can catch her pre fame in the video for “Cupid’s Chokehold” by Gym Class Heroes as she was dated Travie McCoy at the time). She became the first woman to lift five US No 1 singles from an album during her “Teenage Dream” campaign with a sixth coming from the expanded album version though just two went all the way here. May 29, 20178 yr I really applause Katy Perry for seemingly being herself all the time and also not trying hard! I hope her current era goes back up after a hectic start.
May 30, 20178 yr I guess this means Gaga is #7. Impressive that she managed to sell more than Beyonce in just 4 years (2009 - 2013)! That's 5 years

WHITNEY HOUSTON (8,064,000) http://cdn.smehost.net/whitneyhoustoncom-uslegacyprod/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/whitney_slider2_0_0.png 35 HITS 1985-2009 BIGGEST HIT: I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU Before Mariah, Leona and Christina there was Whitney, the original 80s diva with the voice! Houston still holds the record for 7 straight US chart toppers though again the UK was, comparatively, a lesser market where she’s had just 4 number one singles. She did however turn “I Will Always Love You” into a 10 week chart topper (still a record for a woman which though equaled is not surpassed) and also made the biggest selling single by a woman until Cher came along. Later years saw her struggle with drug addiction and some awful “live” appearances but let’s not dwell on those. Discography ABU2K7wv6lM Personal highlight SUAkJf-ILgQ
May 30, 20178 yr Whitney is such an icon. So much great music. Such a tragic last few years. Despite her voice not being what it once was, I really enjoyed her last album. I look to you gets me all emotional
May 30, 20178 yr Assuming Madonna & Kylie will be top 2, the rest will be Britney, Rihanna & Gaga, question is in what order?
May 30, 20178 yr It's a 2 horse race between Madonna and Rihanna, Rihanna's massive downloads 2008-2013 means she will win. Britney 5th then Gaga 4th but it will be close. Edited May 30, 20178 yr by aeroco
May 30, 20178 yr I'm late at this but I'm glad to see my faves Janet as high as #15 and Mariah #9, okay they might not have been as big here but they are in no way, shape or form "local" as some people like to pretend :) I hope Madonna is #1 and not Rihanna! Also hope Britney finishes above Gaga
May 30, 20178 yr I reckon Britney is next, coz 2004-2007 were AWFUL years for sales! :( (that's where 2 of Britney's signature and best selling hits are!) Obviously I hope I'm wrong!
May 31, 20178 yr I think: 1. Rihanna 2. Madonna 3. Kylie 4. GaGa 5. Britney I'm shocked Britney is so high tbh. Single sales were the pits when she was in the middle of her success.
