July 28, 20179 yr Pretty Girl is decent, but a BIT Year 7 disco now. Year 7 disco is literally the perfect way to describe it
July 28, 20179 yr Ok so I'm officially old! This is the first time I've listened to the chart show in about 10 years and I'm shocked! I only tuned in to see which Linkin Park songs charted and they're skipping past over half the songs, the DJ is terrible and slow while he thinks of things of things to say, and even the overly Welsh newsreader is annoying the sh#t out of me  Listening to the chart every Sunday was one of the highlights of my week years ago but I gave up on it when they started mucking around with the format and all the downloads and streaming made it uninteresting. Be interesting to see if any listeners from the Sunday top 40 days agree or if I am indeed just getting old! Bring back Mark Goodier :cheer: I assume his hesitation when talking about Linking Park was an indication that he was a fan.

July 28, 20179 yr Is it just me or does the vocal effect on this remix of 'Pretty Girl' make it sound like every single word is a different recording and the song is just a bunch of individual words spliced together  Really doesn't sound good.

July 28, 20179 yr Your Song   One of my favourite songs at the moment, loving it so much and it deserves to go top 5 so badly <3
July 28, 20179 yr errrr.... Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott's first album  its second ain't it. Third actually!
July 28, 20179 yr Yayy for Lana getting another #1 album  good recovery after she missed out last time. The singles from this album have been pretty hit or miss for me but 'Summer Bummer' is one of her best songs for me and I love the title track too. Pleased that Linkin Park held onto two top 5 albums too (and 'Hybrid Theory' returning to its peak) - and I'm shocked but pleased to see Tyler, The Creator has actually climbed from the mids to get his first top 10 album! Great to see Dizzee Rascal holding onto top 10 by the skin of his teeth as well :D I guess streaming gave both an edge over poor brave Declan McKenna (who also deserved better than #11, I guess he's just really not happening despite R1 stanning!)
July 28, 20179 yr Power <3 <3 So glad is getting a new peak, my favourite Little Mix song  So frustrating to see this & Your Song prevented from becoming pretty much the second lead female top 5 of the year </3 And another #6 for Little Mix

They are the first and, so far, only group to win the competition. Following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson. Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top 5 with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position by a British girl group, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. In the UK, the album spawned the number-one single "Wings". The group's sophomore effort Salute, which was released in 2013, became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. The album produced two top 10 singles in their home country; "Move" and "Salute". Little Mix released their third studio album Get Weird in 2015 and it is their best-selling and longest charting album to date in the UK. The album's lead single "Black Magic" reached number one in the UK and was also nominated for two Brit Awards in 2016. The group's 2016 fourth studio album Glory Days became their first number one album in the UK and was also the longest reigning girl group Number 1 since the Spice Girls' debut album 20 years ago. The album's lead single "Shout Out to My Ex" became the group's fourth UK number one single, while the second single "Touch" became the group's tenth top ten hit in the UK Singles Chart. The group won Best British Single for "Shout Out to My Ex" at the 2017 Brit Awards, they have also received several other awards during their career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Glamour Awards. As of October 2016 the group has achieved four platinum certified albums and eleven certified singles in the UK. With four UK number one singles and highest first week UK album sales for a girl band since the Spice Girls, Little Mix are one of the most successful female acts in contemporary British popular culture: they appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the UK. Little Mix currently holds the record for the most VEVO Certified Videos for a British female artist, pushing Adele into second place, and also the most certified videos for a girl group. The group has 10 certified videos in total. - Wikipedia Top 100 Chart History Little Mix 2011 01 Cannonball -NAS- 2012 01 Wings -1- 2012 03 DNA -2- 2013 12 Change Your Life -3- 2013 16 How Ya Doin'?
