I think this week is the last week until September that we will see decent Album Sales (unless there is a surprise Release which is unlikely).

I personally don't think they will plummet to the levels of last summer though (Ed's streams will keep his Album above 10k).

 

OCC could have given Radio 1 an updated version, its happened before, we shall see later.

On a different note, great sales for Arcade Fire

 

They'll give it with ACR, but usually if streaming data is not reported it's not reported at all until at least the next day.

I've not yet listened to any of Arcade Fire's new stuff, and not too sure what to expect from it based on some of the reviews, but it's good to see them coming for an easy third #1 album anyway.

that album that got to #12 was a charity release called Whispers 2, basically a collection of leftovers from the Whispers album that peaked at #5 but with 23K

but yes, New as the Morning was a surprising #1, did 18k and beat a Bruce Springsteen Best of by a very small margin, actually thanks to streams, Bruce was #1 on pure sales... I really think the new one is doing poorly cos of the short announcement time, New as the Morning was announced like 3 months before the release and ws preceded by a couple singles...

It's quite a random sales figure that Music Week have given re: Miley's track, especially as they haven't bothered to give the sales for numbers 3 and 5!

 

I wouldn't mind those PSB albums, but do I really want to spend £45.00 on three albums, I think I wait till they go down in price.

I don't even think Enrique is that high, probably around #10 or #11 when those spotify sales are added and Dua Lipa should be top 10 at least.

A few substantial increases in the Album chart due to the £4.99 Promotion, Haim, Lorde, Dua Lipa, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars all with big rises this week so far!

With information missing Enrique Iglesias is likely higher than he really is, i would be delighted for this to make the top 10 in general this week. The Script, most likely suffering the same as Enrique but i would believe Rain should make a top 40 return nonetheless.

 

The Killers (Run for Cover) and Stereophonics (All In One Night) will likely not be part of the top 100 on Sunday which is unfortunate, as again they are both likely so high due to missing information.

 

Pet Shop Boys will likely fall largely as the week progresses. So thrilled to see Arcade Fire a sure fire number 1 album this week, it would be just wonderful if they can get the single to stay top 40. Their singles criminally under perform and have little single chart success to their name.

9 on Spotify and on the rose plus close to number 5 and still rising fast on iTunes? She will be top 8ish but top 10 for 200%.
