Sorry to be the party pooper but I fail to see what's going to be achieved here? ;o Taylor I can understand to an extent as she actually got the votes but Ariana and Justin forums seems a bit overzealous if anything  No single from the Dangerous Woman era got more than six pages of discussion in the Pop forum and most under five pages and I honestly can't see how that discussion would do anything but decrease in a forum tucked right away at the bottom of the site ngl. Don't get me wrong, I love her but it just seems unnecessary and there'll probably be even less discussion about Ari than before  I kinda agree that okay posting levels can be sustained be good modding but hell, I used to start up like a million topics a week in Rih and I'm very passionate about her and that struggles to get in the top five most weeks  All of the above relates to Justin as well. Good luck to the new mods though, I definitely agree that we need new fresh mods rather than the same old faces (not that that applies to the mods of the new forums, we have some mods who haven't before already!!), it's really not that hard to sustain a semi-successful AF if you put the work in and it basically boils down to starting topics about their discography and what they're doing

Yet you've just requested Zara Larsson? Right...

I think we got your opinion on the Zara forum in the request thread, we don't need to hear it again

Slightly surprised that Timberlake has been given the boot before Darius and the potential Take That merger with his new era rumoured to be starting imminently! :o Although in an ideal world Timberlake, Darius and merger all get removed/happen.

Overall great work though and keep it coming!

I posted several posts about the new album and era, nobody replied  :(

Dua Lipa is potentially a really good call I think - Sometimes it is good to target an act who won't have loads of other forums dedicated to them across the net as it is a better reason for people to sign up.

Hope it works out. ^_^

Those who are doubting these new AFs - they can hardly be worse than the forums they've replaced! If you were a pop music fan and considering signing up to Buzzjack, what would be more enticing? Four dead forums for JT, Elvis, U2 and Glee, or four active forums for Dua, Justin, Taylor and Ari? It's a no-brainer really, and us mods are dedicated to making them all a success.

Also, follow the Bieber AF on Twitter x https://twitter.com/BieberBuzzjack

yess well put and that's exactly the point. If we're going to remove dead AFs we might as well recycle them with artists who have a considerably higher chance of bringing traffic. And should any of the new ones die out, the process repeats itself. No harm done! :D

Justin and Ari are fab additions tbh. I'm sure both will continue to be popular for years to come. I don't really follow Dua so I can't really comment on that  but from what I've read I have confidence in her one as well.

You don't have to replace them with anytinhg. There's no rule stating there needs to be a certain number. Let the new ones find a chance to get their feet and see if they suceed before adding an onslaught of other new ones.

Well no but, from what I understand is if we want to add new artists we have to create them all out of existing ones. So, if we had decided to just remove Elvis, U2 etc. we wouldn't be able to add the new ones we have now in our current management situation.

So? We have 4 new ones already, lets se ehow they do first before they end up dead too and being elected to be swapped out before the year is out.

And you don't need to make one from an old one, how do you imagine the original ones were made?

But wasn't there a management problem discussed a few weeks ago explaining why forums like Taylor Swift/Shaggy weren't being put up after getting the required number of votes? I think it was something to do with how Suede/the other globs didn't have access to the features required to set up new AFs and only Phil had that power (?)

Zara's single threads got more replies than Ariana thread? Zara literally has a huge social media fanbase, I never actually realised how big it was and she's the SECOND MOST STREAMED FEMALE of all time from an album. Social media is her strong point and there's no forum for fans.

I demand a Martine McCutcheon forum. A popstar with an actual back catalogue.
JAKE PAUL FORUM. He is SO BIG on Social Media.
Louise Redknapp pls come thru

She;s annoucned she is recording again, perfect time for an AF

All feels a bit ageist to me. -_-

I'm 55 - I don't think there's anything celebratory about getting rid of an Elvis forum - one of the most globally iconic performers of the last sixty years who continues to have number one albums. How much more relevant can you be? And U2? One of the most successful bands of all time?

It's still interesting to read the forums even if not posting.

I'm in the Robbie forum. We chat every single day. There aren't many of us but the forum is active, up to date and vibrant and yet we're going to be "merged"? .

There is still a place for older artists and their forums. Pop music is for everyone.
