#27th! I think that just about exceeds anyone's predictions for Jupiterdonia :D

and 11th in the semi too! Not squeaking in like just about everyone predicted, including myself :o

Congrats to Quintessa, a winner I enjoyed. And one of only 2 in the top 10 I voted for!

6th (basically top 5), that'll do! that's 4 top tens in the span of a year for Trifoski, if you're keeping score at home. Noticed a fair few 18s in there which is cool!

Quinty's tune was a banger, clearly a well deserved win! That whole top 3 is really good in fact + i called Rontvia in 4th *.*

Thank you Joseph, Yu and Lew for your efforts this month <3

Ha, I knew it. Always makes me nervy even after the fact when I scrape through a semi like that though, I got real lucky :D

(and not a single person voted for both me and UVland, how interesting how songs on the opposite end of the spectrum meet like that)

Interesting to see I received four sets of top points in the semi final but none in the final at all!
:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I can't believe it, never thought I had a winner in me, thanks so much to everyone who voted.

Also congrats to what I think is a pretty great top 10, even the ones I didn't point weren't far off.

Well done I do like some swing house and Gypsy (Catch Me If You Can) is a superb example of the genre!

That's pretty shit getting knocked out of the top 20 in one swoop :( So glad I managed to do better than the predictions!

I saw the results all in the space of 5 minutes last night in the staff forum as we were getting organised for the hosting switch, I added up my points as I read through all of the PMs in quick succession hoping that I'd get around the 300 point barrier as I knew that'd mean I had a chance. Knowing after reading all the PMs I'd got just over 300 points and opened the spreadsheet, hoping it might have been enough but Quintessa had stormed ahead! Congratulations Leonardo, a dominant victory!

I'm glad I didn't have to suffer through tonight's result show in terms of leading at various points, being in contention until 10 or so votes from the end - I think I'd have had a breakdown following it in real time!

Great hosting from Yu, Joseph and Leww and thank you to everyone who sent votes for Ramrynia. I believe we got the most set of votes of all, potentially a first for me, and I also broke the 300 points barrier for the first time ever! A 7th podium finish in the main contest now, one day it'll be a top of the podium finish I hope - I say this everytime! :heehee:

Since when did "swing" and "house" form part of the same sentence.

*.* Wow that went amazingly <3 I did think when I first heard it that it could've done well, but I didn't expect it to this level, I actually almost sent it to Nuggets instead! But I'm glad I could make up for Routine missing the top 10 earlier in the year, thanks very much to everyone that voted, new record for me points-wise and position! (And another bridesmaid position to match my two spin-offs, UP & Nuggets ones, one of these days...).

Really surprised but glad to see Rontvia do so well, I don't think anyone called that! I see Hearth finished in the same position as Time (Inception) did for me, one of these days we'll get one into the top 20 ;o Seyetana farrrr too low as well </3

Thanks to leww and to Yu for all the prep, it looked wonderful!

Oh my, I'd forgotten just how much of a bridesmaid curse you have! A 2nd place in the Pop Forum contest and you'd have the whole set. Also hadn't yet clocked that I matched the performance of Kitchen, apparently long epic post-rock-y songs are a safe bet for exactly 21st  nearly the same number of points as well (just 2 more for 'Hearth').

Thanks for posting the semi results swiftly Joseph, my best semi result of the year hooray! I'm shocked at how close Tartford were to DNQing, never thought it'd be semi 2 voters saving them! Me making last minute changes to my semi votes just swapped Cumulonimbia for Séyetana (as I pushed the latter up one point as well as moving Cumulonimbia from 12 to 10) - swapping a fave for a fave, not sure how I feel about that! At least I don't have to feel bad for kicking out Ultraviolenceland as they'd have been out either way.

Going to try and get the YTD up tonight! Anyone who's been paying attention should know who's now pretty comfortably in the lead :o

Just the one difference in our scoreboards - I have Quintessa one point higher and Cor Lupus one lower! Looks like the issue is in Daehun's own votes (he gave 11 to QUIN and 10 to COR L but they were added the other way round). So a slightly bigger victory for Quintessa :P (and also Cor Lupus drop a couple of places in favour of Aelandor and myself, sorry Cody - me coming 21st tho)
I do not recognize this result, I'm pulling a Silas

Swing house is a genre though! I prefer to use it to describe songs like Gypsy (Catch Me If You Can) rather than the term 'electroswing', as that is too much of an ambiguous term I think that can be used to describe anything that is electronic and has swing influences.

I had kind of gone off the genre anyway because that infernal Aerial advert with a swing house track in it kept being played nonstop until recently, so good to see a track that can make me like the genre again.

Thanks Spadz! *.* I think those might be my first points from you since 'Virtual Paradise' back in 2015 :o woo x
it was a nice track for the summer :D
Spadam shouldn't be in the dance bloc
oi oi, just you wait until I put out the rest of my entries for this year

When it comes to me voting songs, or even enjoying them in general I am usually excited by the interesting melodies or powerful vocals for example. icr how yours went but I know I left a few dancey songs out of my votes this month  It did feel I was more Pop in this contest!

Omg those results went so well  only thing I wasn't happy about was poor Britt finishing a fair bit lower than I was hoping :(

CarameldanSEN though -_-

CarameldanSEN though -_-

The English version is called Caramelldancing and that's the one that was actually in the contest x

Yasss at my 18 winning! Amazing track- my 13 coming 2nd too. :o

Happy with 20th, it was so tight in the middle of the scoreboard so I could've gone either way. As it turns out, it's still a top 20 so a much better result than most of my other entries. :o

Interesting that I kinda singlehandedly just about kept Rolloland and Seyetana in the final, and I was so close to pointing Cumulonimbia which could've knocked Seye out.

Amazing top 2! I couldn't decide which one I wanted to win more. Also an amazing contest overall! Justice for Jupiterdonia and Scherzland, two brilliant discoveries that deserved better, as well as St. Burbia's entry which certainly wasn't bottom 3 worthy.

Excellent job on short notice Leww, and congrats Leonardo! :cheer:
