TIWYCM 9, WT 7.

 

At least the former is a fairly decent attempt at a Thinking About You part 2 (my favourite Calvin song) WT is good but in places I'm reminded of that awful BBHMM :drama:

I really don't get the hate TIWYCF gets. It's a banger.

Surprised at the results of this~ Tbh I've never been that big on TIWYCF, maybe this is just me but for such a huge hit last summer it generally seems quite forgotten about? Wild Thoughts is a huge jam, one of her best collabs :wub: Wouldn't be surprised if she went more in that direction for R9!

I cannot abide This Is What You Came For, so basic and I neve ever took to it :/ It's like a 3/10 at best, her worst single for me.

 

Wild Thoughts is a solid 9/10 JAM.

I've gone for the perfect summer song that is 'Wild Thoughts'! I did initially really like 'This Is What You Came For' also but it gold old pretty fast.

While we're on the subject:

 

 

This Is What You Came For is one of my fave 1980s hits x

 

But seriously, I adore this reworking. :wub: Try not to get a seizure from watching the video though ;o (Also, setting the speed of the video to 1.25 makes it sound boppier... and more in keeping with the original. I love the slower/epic sound of it at normal speed though).

 

 

As for the proper version... I can understand why some people feel that it's basic, but I've always found it to be a total earworm, it's absolutely one of my faves of 2016. :heart:

 

I love Wild Thoughts too, it's one of my fave more urban-leaning Rihanna moments actually.

Finally found a version of this I can get behind :wub: that's easily the best of these '80's remixes' of songs I've heard!!
