Is Buzzjack laggy for anyone else today? Just had a good 3-5 minute spell.

Probably because I had to delete a post, website pretty much always freezes every time I carry out a mod function. :drama: Sorry guys! :lol:

Every page seems to take a good 10-15 seconds to load for me the last few days. It's not my internet as no other website is having the same issues.

It's not like it all the time for me but I've also noticed occasional periods over the last few days where all pages take a few seconds to load (not quite 10-15 seconds I think, more like 5 seconds). Different to the usual lag pattern of the whole site going down for a couple of minutes every now and then but then being completely back to normal when it's back.

Over the past few days the website has also been taking a very long time to load for me as well. Sometimes only a segment of the page will actually show up and i'll have to refresh to see the full page

PSA: if the forum is lagging and you've just submitted a post, please DON'T press "add reply" again, it will go through when the forum loads!!! It'll end up with double posts, triple posts or WORSE (the deletion of which could slow the forum down again, it's a vicious cycle x)

Well apparently there's over 266,000 threads, many of which will have multiple pages, and over 170,000 members who will each have their own profile page.

 

Horrendous lag for me all day today, sometimes taking well over a minute to load one page.

^ Literally coming to say the same, a minute at best for each page to load.

Yeah it's especially bad right now, and over 1700 guests viewing the site? :mellow:

Yes it's being incredibly slow to do anything just now. An absolute pain in the arse. Is there anyway that Phil could see if the number of members/pages etc... are causing issues on the site and delete accounts that have been inactive for a certain period of time?

I think it must be the number of 'guests' viewing the site, I've been watching the number each time I've been able to load the front page and it increases by a few dozen every time. Idk if setting the site to members only would fix that? x

I have an inkling we are at the centre of a DDoS attack :thinking:

I think we're suddenly back to being under 10 seconds of lag again now at least (unless I am jinxing it again now) x
