Welcome to Round 15 of Least Fave Katy Perry single and finishing in 10th place is the bop tastic 'Last Friday Night' which received 8 votes, making this the 3rd 'Teenage Dream' single to drop in a row and 4th overall, but still leaving 4 in the running. Well what can I say about this fun piece of pop fluff, it's lasted pretty well throughout the competition even if it is mainly down to it's epic music video which introduced us to Kathy Beth Terry and it would be great to see a follow up video with her character back. Not only did this song help Katy Perry make history by becoming the first female artist to score 5 #1's from one album, she'd also tied this record with Michael Jackson and would later smash his record by scoring another 3 top 5 hits from this album. This was a firm instant fave upon my purchase of the brilliant album, and was so happy when it became a single and okay it may not have aged as gracefully as some of her other hits, with it's rather silly but fun lyrics and yeah it's pretty lightweight, but it's still fantastic fun.

Hot N Cold again!

 

I always forget how much I love Last Friday Night until I hear it (or see the video) but it is so much fun and one of her catchiest songs in my opinion. Would probably have it around 10th in my personal rankings too ~

Does not deserve to be in her Top 10 songs.

Chained to the Rhythm, although it was a close call between that and E.T :ph34r:

Gotta be Hot n Cold. Not her best at all.

 

California Gurls remains one of her crowning glories.
