That's exactly what I meant haha. It'd presumably be the same thing every month with someone asking, it's probably a better idea to just do them anyway. I get that it's a pain though, doesn't always have to be the host either that does them, could do like a random.org thing each month lmao and the "winner" makes them :angel: I joke.

Ngl I haven't seen tagged the mp3s because more than half haven't put an mp3 and I'm so busy this week :lol: and I'm out tonight and I don't want to leave it any longer for peoppe who may rely on them to vote.

 

I think it being compulsory is good even if you just YouTube to mp3 it and upload that!

Do many people really use mp3 packs? :lol: With all due respect its a fuss for each host to have to make them when it feels like ot many use them and not a lot of people submit an mp3, not to like bridezilla host version but it took me a good while to make mp3 packs and if it's not for many people is it a bit much when there is Spotify and youtube to listen on :lol: But then any of you who know me know I stress over nothing so this is just another thing for me to go ott on, it's just interesting to know if many people even use mp3 packs as they feel outdated to me but i guess it's one of the duties you take on as host and I always underestimate them :P

 

I can't say mich as I slack on putting an mp3 but it's because I never use them :lol:

Thanks Liam, it worked beautifully and and I really do appreciate it - it's one reason why I don't worry about not winning (or even coming close): I would also flop bigtime for the mp3's and the hosting would be stresstime uselessness for me :lol: Worst. Host. Ever. would be my official title :D

Have I missed the plug semi 2 listen through or is it tonight?

Tonight! I'll aim to start at about 7 depending on when I have dinner but I'll post nearer the time, it might be a tad before like quarter to.

 

Hopefully that's an alright time for everyone, if anyone REALLY needs or wants like another half hour if they're late back from work and need to get dinner or sth I can push to like 7.30 but I'm conscious that the semi is long so don't want to leave it too late to start :lol:

Does anyone else feels like we will have a lot of countries failing to vote on time?

I always have that a worry when I host, but most will vote last day i'm sure :lol: Lke you get like 20 last day. I'd rather that wasn't the case but the deadline cold be 9 days or 9 weeks and it'd be the same case, sometimes peope just are busy and don't vote til last day or whatever reason, plus a handful of semi 2 will probably vote after tonight's listen through.

 

I'll send reminders tomorrow but I'll probably not accept late votes unless there are loads and I have to :lol: 9 days is more than enough and if you haven't voted by then that's on you.

Oh yeah 9 days is more than enough, but the only reason why I posted that is because of new and return countries influx...they might just forget about the contest lol. I hope I am wrong though.

I wont be able to attend most of the plug sesh tonight as I am going out, but I will be back about twenty past/half 9 maybe and may come on for half an hour or so.

Just voted! Semi 1 is sooooo good, it was not an easy decision at all.

Voted! Really hard to rank the songs, in love with all of my Top 15!

Just sent my votes as well...indeed a very nice contest...songs in semi 1 were so good that it could easily be a final contest in itself.

I'm not gonna be around til 9:30ish so ideally the later the better but I've already knocked some provisional votes so I'll manage if it don't get to hear much of it with you guys, I just enjoy a plug sesh!

I would also prefer the slightly later start of 7:30 if possible! My lectures finished at 5, but I had to stay behind to speak to my lecturer about something for a while so I don't think I'm going to be home for like an hour, then still need to have dinner.

Ok I'll start at 7:30 but probably pre in the room from like 7!
