We will be employing a similar framework to last time however as eurodance tends to be defined as a rather loose term we may be slightly less strict during the vetting process. This most certainly doesn't mean you can go submitting super-cheap, mega-chart smashes though so please retain an element of inspiration! After all, these contests are all about sharing & discovery :dance:

Between 1993 and 2008 there was a lot of Eurodance around and being made, less so after but there are still Eurodance tracks being created, so there is a big selection of possible tracks.

Im confused by what Eurodance you mean a genre or a dance act from Europe?

The genre, generally fast tempo, hi-NRG/techno with some crossover with house. The act can be from anywhere!

There's a lot of variety in eurodance. After all 2 Unlimited, Star Pilots and Flip and Fill were all eurodance but sound very different.

I have even less idea of how I'll find a suitable song for this than in the first edition but I'll have a go ofc :lol: (and hopefully might do a bit better than bottom 2 this time x)

I've confirmed something! Found some pretty enjoyable songs in this genre after this opened, it's normally not a genre I'm erudite in :P

 

(I hope it's a discovery for most people, it doesn't seem to have done anything in the UK at least)
