14. The Lazy Song (10 Votes)

A few songs attracted a high number of votes in the first round, but it was the 'The Lazy Song' that managed to become Buzzjack's least favourite Bruno Mars single. I remember this being everywhere at the time, to the extent this was performed at my Year 11 Leaver's Assembly that year. It does fall slightly on the annoying side though and it can't be claimed to have aged well. However, with over a billion views on YouTube it's popularity is there for all to see.

Next round closes tomorrow night, so get your votes in!

I really enjoyed 'The Lazy Song' at the time but I agree that it has not aged very well. It's not his worst though so it's a shame that it usurped 'When I Was Your Man' in the voting. I have of course gone for that once again ~

I remember 'The Lazy Song' being everywhere too. I believe I was in Year 9 at the time and it was referred to a lot, although never taken seriously. Now that the novelty has long since worn off, I can't say there's anything about the song that makes me want to return to it so I can see why it was voted out first.

I've not heard 'Gorilla' or 'Young Girls' and haven't heard some of these songs in years so I'll have to have a re-listen before voting. I do recall pretty much all his songs tiring from overplay at the time though.

Ugh. TLS is really under appreciated. No way should it have been the first one out!! :(

Bruno Mars the former king of oversaturation, dethroned by the one and only Ed Sheeran

Oh FFS this poll series is already invalid. Bad move to the Urban mods for thinking about bringing this game back.
I voted Gorilla but I just re-listened to it and it's actually reminded me that I quite like it. It's not the worst here at all.
I really liked Grenade at the time but I have to vote for it now, the over-the-top melodrama just hasn't aged well.

Apart from "The Lazy Song", I don't hate any of his singles as the lead artist so I'm very pleased to see that out first! :D

I really like "Gorilla" so I'm sad to see that looking likely to be the next to leave :( I voted "Young Girls" as I'm least familiar with that (and "It Will Rain") but lyrically "Grenade" and "When I Was Your Man" are his worst.

'The Lazy Song' isn't his best but dammit we were so close to having the actual correct song go out first for once :P Gone for WIWYM again ofc.

'Gorilla' should have been a bigger hit.

Wow surprised that 'TLS' has gone first, considering it's one of his biggest hits and it's in no way the worst here, 'Gorilla', 'Young Girls' & 'Versace On The Floor' are far worse. But went with 'Gorilla' for this round, never found it a very good single choice especially following the massive 3 previous hits 'LOOH', 'WIWYM' & 'Treasure'.

BTW where's 'Uptown Funk', I know it features Mark Ronson, but it is more a Bruno Mars song than anything.

Buzzjack doesn't deserve that song, they'd just vote it off in the first round.

Get over it. I for one am delighted it went out first, it is truly ABOMINABLE.

Went for 'When I Was Your Man' this time.
