A big lol at the excessive production and trying to be edgy comments.

Have people even listened to Prince or her earlier work?

I don't think their playlists go beyond UK top 40 and x factor alumni singles

i much prefer the stuff she was putting out around 2013 (?), 'Dance Apocalpytic' and 'Electric Lady' were great tracks.

MAKE ME FEEL TRYHARD AND TRYING TO BE EDGY

Good lord I've truly now heard it all on this website  At least she *is* trying, it's so refreshing amongst all this miminalist mumbled rap, lazy future bass and pitched vocal "drops" etc. that clog up the charts and spotify playlists everywhere. It's clearly inspired by Prince and trying to evoke that sort of "golden" era of pop music, she's very clearly always been inspired by him (and has collabed with him even) and this is no different.

I like it, especially the contrast between the verses etc and when it explodes.

The cover is stunning.

I'm loving this. This is shaping up to be album of the year!

Another hit from this album, she's so refreshing in this musical landscape! I loved her last two albums but this one is shaping up perfectly.

fabulous as expected

really looking forward to this album :o

Oh my god the video is a masterpiece.

I'm not MAD on the verses but the pre-chorus and chorus are so good my fav parts are the 'Yeeeeahhh!'s.

Tessa Thompson again *.*

This is incredible.

In all seriousness, "Pynk" is another good effort. I'm not sure I've ever been less enthused about urban music and she's sticking out like a sore thumb. I think my one dislike of this song is that it features that tinny cymbal sound throughout like we're finding in a load of tracks at the moment. Though at least it's used a bit more interestingly.

I may end up checking this album out when it comes out.

'Pynk' is literally fast tracking it's way to becoming my fave song of the year. Absolutely fantastic! I love how different in contrast the verse is to the chorus, but it oddly works so well without coming off as a huge mess. So, so good.
