Very disappointing figures for Anne Marie’s album after the big label investment

Even Blossoms are doing better

Not that Post Malone is doing anything spectacular

Why "even Blossoms"? I always expected them to be higher so I'm glad it looks like there's a chance she might overtake. She's doing pretty much as I expected. She's sold more than Dua Lipa's album had in week 1 by this point (less than 11.5k), and in fact, more than it had sold by Tuesday's update too. She's looking to outsell Zara's first week also. I think she's doing just fine, you seemed to have your hopes too high.

It’s so great to see Kylie holding in the top 10. Usually she drops pretty quickly, being a huge Kylie fan since 1988, it’s nice to see her back where she should be. I hope the album has a long decent chart run.

That's a far stronger midweek position for Janelle than I expected :o

Is she looking good to stay top 10 do we think?

Edit: oh and Anne-Marie is doing really well for an act of her caliber! I imagine '2002' getting promo will only help it hold steady in the coming weeks. To think just 2 or 3 weeks ago, she could easily have been about 7 in the mids. '2002' appealing to the gen public seems to have bolstered it somewhat!

oh good to see 'Wake Me Up' is likely to spend another week top 40, currently #29 after being reset (meanwhile Levels is #37 and Hey Brother is #58). shame the singles chart is really non eventful this week, if only we didn't have the artist cap then we'd get a few more Post Malone tracks. :P

Would be fab if Blossoms could stay top 3, and Post Malone being #1 would be deserved even if the album's mediocre at best.

Decent sales for Anne-Marie but not surprised she's being outperformed quite strongly by Post (even without the streaming deficit factored in)

I was hoping Matt would start out top 10 at least but I guess 15 isn’t bad all things considered.

Was thinking that myself, a pop act vs an indie act so she's doing decently. In fact I'm impressed with all the NEs sales especially PM, he must have top 2 place for sure now!

Great sales for Anne-Marie!

I imagine she’ll debut with higher sales than Lorde, Katy Perry, Dua Lipa and Zara! :D

Do we know where Cardi’s album please?

Jess Glynne is coming ON FRIDAY! Wonder if she'll be blocked by Calvua or it will be another resilient single to rise atop

Jess Glynne will enter straight in at #1 with the highest weekly sale of the year and spend 10 weeks at #1, move over Ariana and Dua for the real queen of music!!!

Nah really I think it'll enter top 20 provided it gets instant support and end up going top five.

Keala is selling better this week or seems so on digital sales and iTunes?

DVD is out.

"even Blossoms" - Blossoms have had a #1 album. I'd expect them to sell better than her.

Saara Aalto to miss the top 100 then.

I think she might chart if she does well at Eurovision. Fingers crossed for her.

DVD is out.

In fact DVD is not out until May 14th, it is available from iTunes (and other places like Amazon) to buy and download though.

I thought Blossoms would have quite easily outsold Anne-Marie, but with only a few hundred between them and Anne-Marie probably picking up more casual sales over the week I could see them swapping over by Friday. I guess that isn't an awful showing for Blossoms but has to be a little disappointing after they spent 2 weeks at #1 with their debut.

Really hope Post can hold onto the #1.

Looking at the Top 100 update on OCC website, No Roots has risen considerably from 86 to 48. Thought this was doing absolutely nothing on streams, and only decent on downloads? Or is this to do with the missing streaming data?
