Just caught up with the last couple of batches and now I'm spamming the 'Chocolate' instrumental you embedded  it really is lush though *.* pleasantly surprised to see 'Giving You Up' in the top 40, wasn't really sure how that one was going to fare.

40. 100 Degrees (with Dannii Minogue)

39. Giving You Up

38. Wouldn't Change a Thing

37. What Kind of Fool (Heard All That Before)

36. Je ne sais pas pourquoi

No bad song in those results, all very different. 100 Degrees would be the weakest of that group but still very good.

I do agree about the points made on What Kind Of Fool, it was a step backwards in terms of music after the material she released from Rhythm of Love and Lets Get To It, the song more belonged to the Kylie or Enjoy Yourself era but i would think the song was a nod by SAW to the style of music that got her to where she was at that point of her career.

It's so good, isn't it?! I think it's fan made but is a great remake nonetheless. I never realised just how groovy it was, definitely reflects the R&B sound the album is so commonly associated with, even though a lot of it actually isn't.

The only placement I'm a little disappointed with so far is Please Stay in 44th! I've always had a soft spot for that song.

I've never really had much time for 100 Degrees... I doubt it'd be within my Top 60 if I was to rank these myself.

Clearly I'm responsible for Loco-Motion ending up placing outside the Top 40! :kink: I've never found it to be particularly enjoyable unfortunately, it's quite grating. Oops D:

Please Stay in enjoyable but isnt one of Kylie songs that would spring to mind if someone said name some Kylie singles.

But my name was Elisa Day

To celebrate her 25 years in the music industry, Kylie released a musical piece on the 25th of each month for a year: some were live performances, some were orchestral reworkings of her hits and, for May, a new song was released. 'Timebomb' is a club-ready banger, with lyrics of dancing and having fun before running out of time over an electro beat that's reminiscent of BodyRockers' 'I Like the Way'. Despite plans for the song to be included on The Best of Kylie Minogue, it was mysteriously left off the tracking list.

The highest placing song from Let's Get to It (making the album the first studio one to lose all its songs), 'Finer Feelings' is its final single. Easily the most sexy single Kylie had released to that point, the song acts like a blueprint to her following album. It plays with new jack swing; a classy, sophisticated piece that showed that Kylie was capable of more than just fantastic dance-pop songs and was ready to broaden her horizons.

Nick Cave may not seem like the most likely of collaborators for Kylie, but their differences is what makes 'Where the Wild Roses Grow' work so well. The song is a dialogue between a killer and his victim, recalling the series of events from both perspectives. They both fall for each other, but whilst her sweet innocence sees warmth and feeling, his disturbed man believes she is too beautiful to live. The gentle string arrangement that runs throughout is the perfect soundbed to the verses, allowing Kylie's delicate whispers and Nick's gravely tones to convey the story. It's both a beautiful and horrifying listen, rightfully remaining one of Kylie's most prestigious songs among music critics.

From one collaboration to another, 'The Other Boys' just edges it to be Kylie's top rated. Five years after they had a hand in the production and writing of 'Put Your Hands Up', twin DJs Miriam and Olivia Nervo, also from Melbourne, teamed up with Kylie once again for a huge modern disco anthem. Joining them on the track is Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears and King of Disco himself, Nile Rodgers, and the result is an explosion of personality and styles of all involved. Kylie's vocalising over Nile's fiery guitar solo towards the end is a particular treat.

Lead single from Kiss Me Once, 'Into the Blue' sees Kylie at her most euphoric. The heavenly strings and piano intro leads into a confessional verse, before exploding into an empowering, hands-in-the air chorus, topped by a beautiful, soaring vocal delivery of the song's title. It's a sound very familiar to Kylie but here she pushes it to the top of her game.
I'm still not okay that 'Timebomb' stalled in the 30s in the chart. Her second best release in the 2010s for me after 'All The Lovers'!
Where the wild roses grow should be much higher, its not good seeing it below all those songs in that bunch as its far superior for me.
'Timebomb' - Thought this would have been higher, it finished just outside the top 20 in my rate back in 2014, really shows a difference that how people's taste changes through the years. Anyway I really loved this at time, found it fantastic with it's frantic production and addictive hooks and should have been a chart smash, but wasn't unfortunately, just like most of Kylie's 2010's output. However I don't really go back to it much anymore, find it quite dated now, but still a fantastic song and WHY wasn't this on her Best of collection back in 2012, surely it would have helped towards sales and made the collection worth buying. Such a shame this never ended up on any of her albums, even though she wanted this on her 'KMO' album, but Parlophone scrapped the idea. Hopefully sometime in the future if she does release another compilation album, hope this will get included.

'Finer Feelings' - Another fantastic underrated gem, this took a while to grow on me, but now I love it, definitely much better in it's single form and the Abbey Road sessions, the latter of which really gave this a whole new lease of life and glad at least one of 'LGTI' singles made the top 40 here. I also really like the classy music video which goes really well with the song and definitely one of her best videos from her PWL days.

'Where The Wild Roses Grow' - Now this should be much higher as it's always well remembered by Kylie fans and critics who look back at this as one of her best songs. It's very left-field for her, I think at the time people weren't ready for Kylie to do something of this nature and that's why it probably underperformed peaking at only #11 in the UK, again should have been a much bigger hit like it was worldwide. A very haunting but beautiful number all the same and a definite turning point in her career where you can see that she's growing as an artist and if you want something to Kylie's pop songs, then this is it.

'The Other Boys' - This is quite a surprise, seeing it finish this high, especially over a lot of her more well known material. But yeah this is decent enough and if this came out 10 years before it did, then it would have smashed, especially considering it features Jake Shears from the Scissor Sisters who back in 2005 were huge, I dunno why it took so long for them to do a song together. A shame this didn't do nothing chart wise and will probably end up forgotten in a few years.

'Into The Blue' - This finished at #12 back in my rate and 4 years later drops 19 places, WOW what a difference. Always found this a good song, but to be honest it never clicked with me the way it did with other Kylie fans, I dunno why it's still a pretty good song though, but never had that spark and feels like it's missing that special something. Also I don't think it helps that it features on one of her worst albums.

I think that 'Every Day's Like Christmas' will definitely be in the next batch to drop, along with 'Turn It Into Love' and maybe 'Shocked', 'Red Blooded Woman' & possibly 'Come Into My World'.

Those are my guesses....

Timebomb is a very so so song for me, it was enjoyable at the time but a song that i have forgotten about and it hasnt aged well i think,

'Timebomb' is incredible, I'm outraged it's that low. I'd love a whole album of 'Timebomb's from her.

I'm quite surprised 'The Other Boys' made it that high. Tune, deserved to at least chart in 2015.

The Other Boys did better than i thought on this, i do like the song and it deserved to at least chart, its much better than I was gona cancel which made the top 60.

Where the Wild Roses Grow, yet again underrated.

It is disappointing to see it so low on the list, wonderful song and one of the most important of Kylie's career.
